Alright AJ! That's the way to end a slump! Hitting a dinger against a pitcher you're 0-11 against!

Wow they are bad defensively
Seriously. Infante doesn't look like he even knows what he's doing out there. That third out was a nice play, but those first two? l o l at that.

Hopefully the Sox can capitalize on them a little bit, and like Steve Stone has said, why the **** isn't anyone bunting towards third?!

I hope we try to obtain a 2nd baseman in the offseason with an avg glove and that can actually hit.

Say what you want about Thornton....you can blame Ventura for this one. Peavy looked dead in the 6th, he should have never been out there for the 7th. These big games is where experience comes in handy. Robin is still learning and its hurting the team.

What a horrible game all-around even though the Tigers pulled it out. At least that's what it felt like at the park. Terrible clutch hitting by both teams, terrible defense by the Tigers and a generally dead crowd. I'm frustrated after the win, I can imagine what you guys are feeling the same way.

The crowd sounded pretty lively after those 3 RBI's to take the lead. Lol

Maybe so. At that point of the night I was so pissed at the Tigers overall play I didn't really care. With the holiday weekend and two large festivals going on it was less than a full house. Just a strange night for a battle of the top teams in the division.

While I think the Tigers might be able to take all three or two at worst, the four in Chicago in two weeks preceded by three in LA scare the hell out of me.

Have the Sox played an inordinate amount of three city road trips? The Tigers have had five trips of three cities (9 or 10 games), but have only had two home series of 9 or more games. One last week and one to end the home schedule in September.
