I've been a Forte fan but he stinks in between tackles

Watching Lynch and Peterson today makes me realize how much of bad runner Forte is between tackles. Lunch is cutting back every play and looks awesome. Forte just runs straight like a dope. God dam

Put him the slot, part of a dual backfield attack, IMO.

Can't do much without any blocking.... go back and watch the game again.. there's a drastic difference in forte's game when he actually has blocking and when he doesn't. He'd be fine between the tackles if he'd get the blocks. C'mon people

The guy has been producing over a hundred yards a game behind the same crap OL through his career. He's had a few weeks here where he hasn't been as productive and people are hating all over the place. Just like they were hating during his contract negotiations.

I guess maybe there's just something about the guy that makes a lot of people dislike him, because of the 15 or so guys who get substantial playing time on that grossly under-performing offense, his leash seems to always be the shortest with fans.

When Forte has decent run blocking he gets better results. The poor run blocking really showed today and now we people throwing in the towel on him...

He has pretty much the same production at 4.3 per carry compared to recent years(4.9 & 4.5), but his catches have gone down which we all knew would happen to everyone who isn't named Brandon Marshall.

Forte never was good between the tackles but maybe some of you forgot that...here's some highlights from rookie on...how many big runs came between the tackles?

I think the worst part about most Forte is, they sit here and are mad about his production. But that makes no sense because has Forte not produced every single year the he's been here? You can argue that his production is down this year, which yes it is. But can it also not be argued that the run game and the type of run plays we run this season are not the same as the past?
