I've been a Forte fan but he stinks in between tackles

I noticed on a few plays there was plenty of room for a cut back but it seems sometimes forte looks for the nearest offensive lineman's ass and plugs it.... I would assume this is due to the ankle injury there is just no way he can be 100 percent in one week from a sprained ankle I think he is having problems cutting right now.

Forte isn't as beastly as Lynch or Peterson, but he's got nowhere to go between the tackles most of the time.

Exactly. The OL doesn't open holes, they are still trying to figure out how to block rushers.

He is a better receiver than as a runner for his position. We just don't use him in the passing game for whatever reason. Probably has something to do with pass protection and bad screen play execution. Has a Bears team ever been good at screen passes? Seems like everytime we run one a defender is in the remote vicinity of where the pass is going.

He's not a very good runner unless he's in open space. He doesn't break tackles either, so you're not going to get very many yards after contact.

So we should run Bush between the tackles and Forte outside the tackles and then we would probably win more often I think. Factor in the second coming of (enter hall of fame running back here) Armando Allen we are hot to trot in my book.

He would be a good WR, and needs large holes as a RB. He hesitates way too much behind the line when he needs lower his shoulders and hit the line.

I know you're purely going off stats alone with your Car reference, but taking control of a game doesn't always mean you run for 150+

Even though the numbers aren't there it doesn't mean the impact on the outcome is different.

Incorrect, stats dont tell the whole story and can be twisted. Im using my eyes and Forte isnt the type of back to take over a game

Forte was terrible. Especially early on. He had cutback lanes, he just didn't see them.
