Just confirmed by broadcasters in the Boston/Montreal game. BIG win for the Hawks, I think. We've got another center!

I don't see how this improves the Hawks.

This is a good deal for the Hawks. Frolik is a near 40 point guy, and a natural center which this team desperately needs right now.

It is basically Skille for a potential second line center... I can live with that.

Why don't you go ahead and go look up Salak then come back and post. Frolik isn't the one I'm most excited about.

He hasn't played center at all in the NHL, and probably won't be an effective center in the NHL for the Hawks either.

Not impressed. We got a finesse forward and added NO GRIT. If anything we lost grit, what was Stan thinking?

We are SOFT!

Not only that, we have an ACTUAL goalie prospect.

Salak has been the top goaltender in Elitserien as the 2010-11 campaign enters the stretch drive of the regular season. His 1.91 goals-against average, .929 save percentage and 6 shutouts are all tops in the league among all qualifying goaltenders.

IMO, we fleeced Florida in this trade, unless Skille turns into a legit top six player.

Skille needs a change of scenery, Frolik fills a need. BTW wasn't 50 having wet dreams over Frolik?

Who the **** cares about Frolik... Salak is the key of this trade and I'm surprised Tallon traded him.

Good trade IMO. Got us some additional depth at goalie as well. I like. Skille gets a shot at more ice time with the guy that drafted him. Win/Win.

I was just lookng at that. I could have sworn I heard Tallon say he was their goalie of the future.

Knowing we have shit for depth in goal coming.

Tony Skill might never score 20 goals in his career. While I agree we are soft Frolik has had 20+ goals every year in the NHL, not to mention 40pts plus in each.

I'm talking about how it helps the team right now. Salak is an awesome prospect, but he's not going to make an impact this season. Skille really wasn't doing anything for us. He plays with fucking scrubs in Florida. Frolik might.

Frolik is a winger, always has been on the right side. About the same age as Skille but has scored 20 goals in two seasons. Salak is expendable due to a young goalie prospect from Sweden(name escapes me)and Florida's desire to retain Voukoun.

Tallon's thank you to the Hawks for giving him a ring? I really like this deal.
