Leddy sure did screw up yesterday by giving up the puck right at the blueline but shit happens. Last I checked, with Leddy in the line-up the Hawks are 16-5-3 since being called back up in January -- sounds like his mistakes sure aren't that glaring.

His production isn't there yet, but neither is Barkers. Too bad for Cam, I thought he would bust out in Minnesota especially after posting 40 points as a Blackhawk with smaller minutes.



I liked that trade though, Leddy is going to be a very good player for us... seems like he just keeps improving every day. The production will get there as he builds his confidence, right now I just think he is trying to keep himself as simple as possible -- and that's not a bad thing, probably the best thing he can do early in his career.

Instead of using Keith to stabilize Leddy, maybe they should end this silly Leddy love affair for now and get Keith back with Seabrook. Keith himself needs stabilizing.



No idea on Campbell's return. Still think they need to get Cullimore back and limit Leddy's minutes, especially as the playoffs get closer.



Leddy's talent and potential aside, he is going to kill this team in the playoffs, when it is a different and very unforgiving brand of hockey.

Keith looked really good about 5 games ago. Not sure what's going on. I'll just say this, Leddy has a ton of talent and he is not a total trainwreck (that play being evidence). That said, he is definitely learning on the job and that has to be a factor for Keith's comfort level. Leddy's getting beaten a lot in his own end. Keith HAS to be always thinking about him in the back of his mind.

Leddy - 1g - 0a - 1pts +1 - 4pims - 14hits - 17 blocked shots (16:56per gm)

Keith - 1g - 7a - 8pts +4 - 0pims - 12hits - 32 blocked shots (27:23per gm)



Not to mention...what the other pairings have produced in that 17gm span..

Seabrook - 1g - 8a - 9pts - +8 - 45 hits - 37 blocked shots (+3 on the year)

Hjarllmn - 1g - 2a - 3pts - +9 - 9 hits - 33 blocked shots (+14 on the year)



Soupy - 2g - 5a - 7pts - +6 - 6hits - 18 blocked shots (25pts and +28 on the year)

Hendry - 0g - 0a - 0pts - -1 - 12hits - 2 blocked shots (9gms)

Campli - 0g - 3a - 3pts - +4 - 13hits - 5 blocked shots (9gms)



Oh yeah, and the Hawks are 11-2-4 ...thats taking 26 out of 34 possible points (76% of posible points)and in that span. Keith's game (-2 in 53gms before being paired with Leddy) was inconsistant as shit all year when paired with Seabrook. How many times did they only play 5 Dmen...with Hendry, Keith and Campbell going out with injuries or with Scott in the lineup? And I'm sure other teams are putting their best against him, testing the 19yr old - 1 1/2 years out of fucking high school (not even Jr's). Seems to me that the whole Dgroup has played their best hockey since the trainwreck Leddy as been paired with Keith and hasn't killed the team, but has them playing their best hockey.

This guy and Rozner have to be neck and neck for the DUMBASS award. The way the D has played since Leddy has been brought back up is so blatantly obvious its hard to believe the guy is'nt just trying to be noticed more with his criticism of Leddy.

And now, he's on to Kane - saying he lacks consistancy, doesnt hustle or show up in the big games. Apparently, he uses the WASH game in "making his point" about Kane not giving his all, since he didn't show up on the scoresheet (Ovechkin was -1 in that game..0pts) . Jaekel demands players that give their all every game, goes to corners hard - things Kane doesnt do. He simply waits for the puck to come to him.



Yet...this guy...was a Byfuglien lover (who dissappeared for games on end - his explaination on Big Buff - But I will also say this, people did NOT appreciate what he did away from the puck because a lot of them couldn't see it on tv, and he always showed up big for the big games. ). I guess all his 34 points he scored were in HUGE games...

So....Toews has pretty much been the entire NHLs best player based - and rightfully so. Yet, Patticakes is a mere 2g - 6pts behind him. And in the games Kane doesnt score...he's trown up 21sog and is even in the +/- ...must be doing something right. And in how many of those games...did he set up some scoring opportunities with his passing?
