So what you're saying is you haven't won a damn thing and you're talking out your ass.
Danny boy is the MOST consistently wrong person I have ever seen in my life. His takes on anything and everything are reliably wrong.

Because of his takes record and some small draftking wagers I have zero problems with egg prices. I have a huge fam to feed, and even made a deviled egg tower for my superbowl party. Guests were like WTF!

If Danny boy says the sun is coming up tomorrow, the human race is in big trouble. We should all make arrangements. And I am NOT talking about deviled egg towers!!

Although that is pretty fucking awesome.

You'd think a featured columnist for the web traffic monster that is CCS would know to use an ellipsis.

@DanielCCSBears and @msadows should write a book titled I don't know dung about football and the NFL draft

Please let me know when I have been recently wrong outside of predicting the wrong year for the lions downfall?

I read the tea leaves wrong, it was 2025 not 2024.

I dont go around making predictions anymore outside of thinking the lions still are a trash franchise and still the worst in pro sports history!

OP's opinion may be unpopular, but I don't think it's that off base.

After Hurts' second season, people in Philly weren't entirely sold on him. He was knocked for not having good accuracy on deep balls and not anticipating throws well or being able to throws receivers open.

The Eagles then traded for one of the better WRs in the league in AJ Brown, and added him to a team that had arguably the best O-line in the league and with one of the best pass rushing defenses of all time. Combine that with a weak schedule, and that's what led to them getting the top seed in the NFC. Their easy schedule continued when they faced an overmatched Giants team in the playoffs, and then essentially played a 49ers team with no QB for 3 quarters.

Did Jalen Hurts play well last season? Yes. But everything around him was set up perfectly. Great talent around him, both on offense and defense, and an easy schedule. Any Pro QB should succeed with all that going for them.

But this season, he has all that going for him again but has seemingly taken a major step back in his play. Everything people were concerned about with him 2 years ago is rearing its ugly head again.

Both Hurts and the Eagles are lucky that his massive extension was structured in a way that allows them to basically keep this group together for the next 2-3 seasons because that will help cover up some of Hurts' deficiencies while extending their championship window.

Basically, I don't think Hurts is a bad QB, but I don't think he's elite either. He's someone you can win with in a good system with a solid team. Take that away, and I think Hurts isn't good enough to overcome it, like a Mahomes, Brady, etc.
He's not wrong. Statistically, Jalen Hurts isn't Mahomes, Burrow or Josh Allen elite. His body of work statistically is high second tier low top tier

Right now Hurts has production very similar to pre 2005 Tom Brady who also won his first 2 rings without being statistically elite and also like early Tom Brady, Hurts is unselfish and not afraid to just manage the offense when that is what best suites the situationat hand.

Hurts is more than good enough to win it all with on an annual basis, and does a helluva good job at running that offense and putting the players around him in positions to succeed.

When you have that offensive line and Saquon Barkley in the backfield there's no need for any QB to play hero ball.

I wish more NFL QBs would play like Hurts and run the entire offense to its full capability instead of trying be a one man statistical Superman.

Now, if you started a thread titled "Daniel Jones is not that great QB", I'd be with you.
According to the discussion in the other thread this would mean that you should place a sizeable preseason bet on the team he plays for next year to win the Super Bowl.
