Why is he on the trade block?

Not sure. Rumors are that he wants out though.

That said, I’m already softening my stance on making a trade for him. My preferred option would be to sign Chubb on a cheap prove it deal.

They’re not getting a starter now. Depth is all you can hope for now. They absolutely need depth because of Roschon’s history
considering all the hype this board showered on Rochon when he was drafted, you couls list him as a bust

After a "historically strong" draft to grab rb 22 in r7......that's a pretty disappointing rb room
I would call their draft possibly sneaky good. but nowhere close to historically strong

so was Amon Ra St.Brown, not all 4th rounders are doomed to fail, so they can be called busts whether you like it or not
Nobody said all 4th rounder are doomed to fail.

Does this have to be explained to you, you boob??

Later round picks are crap shoots, some work out and some don’t, EVERYONE except you knows that they mostly DONT work out.

in order for all 4th rounders to be bust proof they would all have to fail

You don’t know what a BUST is, which isn’t all that surprising because you’ve probably never “busted” in your life, incel

Chubb suffered a terrible injury and looked like he wasn't an nfl player coming back from it and then got hurt again. He's done.

Trading a 3rd for breece hall is asinine. He's worth a 5th at most. Mid level rbs with an injury history don't have huge value.

I personally wouldn't trade picks for a back. I'd be talking to Dobbins and looking for post training camp cuts.
The only thing with this is Breece Hall isn't a mid level RB with injury history, he's a top level RB with injury history IMO. Still not good but before the injuries he was showing to be a top level RB.

Jewels to get a case of Squirt
1983 was historical, 2025 was deep
But that isn't what you meant, dumbbell. Like a 6 year old trying to cover up how stupid they are.

Also there were really only three notable RBs drafted in 1983, so that point is also dumb.

that's a pretty strong statement
They have $8M invested in Swift, they resigned Travis Homer, they apparently still like Roschon, Ian Wheeler was potentially going to make the team prior to injury last year, and they drafted Monangai this year. I doubt they keep more than 5 RBs on the roster and anyone they sign will likely still be 4th or 5th on the depth chart.

New RB can is kicked to 2026.

Travis Homer has 6 carries in two years and is a special teams player. He isn’t relevant to the RB conversation.

Swift is obviously RB1

Roschon has multiple concussions.

Ian is coming off major injury and never taken a regular season snap.

Monangai is a 7th round pick. 7th round picks are lucky to make a roster and are more likely to end up on the P squad.

There will still be a RB added to the room over the next 4 months.

Monangai has nothing to worry about, Poles will hold on to his draft picks by all means if he can. They extended Homer after Ben Johnson got here, if he wasn't wanted they wouldn't have brought him back. Any RB they bring in off the scrap heap at the last minute won't have any more likelihood of getting play time than the guys currently here so although there is a slight chance Roschon, Homer, or Wheeler don't make it, unless Swift gets hurt, whoever they bring in won't make much of difference.
