I know people close to the Gamecock program that have always said he was the quintessential diva while he was there...had a knack for missing practice for any "injury."

A WR that's a diva.......no way.

You honestly believe that? This team has been fighting every week and went toe to toe with aZ and GB. They aren't laying this season down and they aren't protecting Jeffery.

He's being a *****. Simple as that. Don't try and sugarcoat him missing games

Ummmmmmm i seem to remember him playing in week 1 while injured so maybe with him just making his injury worse by playing in week 1 the Bears are now hesitant to play him before his 100% again?? Sounds pretty logical to me.

I'm surprised it took so long for some to figure out that he was effective ONLY because of the WR that played across from him. Think about it for a sec, when B. Marshall missed those few games due to injury, what was Jeffrey's excuses then? He was the sole focus of the passing defense, and vanished. When B. Marsh played, he suddenly was effective when he WASN'T the main focus of the passing game.

This was the number 1 reason I had an issue with that trade. Marshall may have pissed off the FO by publicly admitting the Bears sucked, but he was one to show up every Sunday, and bust his ass to make plays. Made some boneheaded ones, but as long as he suited up, you knew Chicago could move the chains with the passing game.

How do you know that it's not J.Fox that's holding him out and that Alshon would play if Fox wanted him to??

Yeah, Fox could be holding him out so he'll be ready for the Superbowl run. Next year...
Even IF Fox was holding him out, but Alshon could play, and Alshon was just like, oh ok I'll sit and watch, and not throwing a fit, then he is still a pussy. So result is the same.

And you have zero idea about if he has asked to play or not......zero idea.

I'll tell you one thing I am 100% sure of. The ****** hasn't seen the field this year. Where there are plenty of WRs in the league playing with ouchies.

Oh alright, that sounds good.

What sounds good about that? Best comp pick you can get is bottom of the 3rd round. That's not value. You may not even get that because we'll be signing a bunch of other guys that cancels out the pick. Relying on a comp pick is pretty dumb. Either keep him or trade him.

It begins. The turn on Alshon

In all fairness, he's bringing it on himself. There are players around the league, with worse injuries/illnesses, fighting their respective FO/coaching staffs to play. This dude, is just collecting checks, and giving the impression he doesn't need to try. Because of that trade, and the injured first round pick, the Bears need him more than he needs them.

He played week 1 and had 5 receptions for 78 yards, while injured.

Comparing Julio Jones to Alshon Jeffrey is as dumb **** Special person as comparing Rodgers to Cutler.
