Mitch had those too.

You really are blinded. Have you seen Jimmy G play? He's basically mitch Jr. Guy cant even read a linebacker and hes been in the league twice as long as mitch.
Hey, i thought you had me on ignore? LMAO

Shanahan/Belichick > Nagy

Shanny is the best offensive minded coach in the league. Nagy couldn't hold his jockstrap. Shanny has developed no names into great players. Nagy has turned good players into scrubs....

Jimmy G and Mitch are the same player with mitch having better mobility and Jimmy g having an actual offensive coach, an oline, a stable or running backs, and a tight end.

Exactly. Neither of them can read a defense. Neither have accuracy.

The difference is one grew up in good ol northern illinois so the meatballs on here always defend him.

Funny thing is, so did cole kmet, and the same meatballs don't defend him. Must be because they just can't defend a player on the bears who struggles. Like ever.

More people here shit on Jimmy than support him. But im not sure what to tell you if you dont know why fans are more critical of players on the team they cheer for than the ones they dont. It's almost as if they have a deep rooting interest for the Bears to succeed and are extra critical of the current players who aren't performing. Really weird stuff, man.

I think that’s the big difference between good HCs and bad ones. He knows football inside and out. College coaches run a particular system and can only win with one idea of what offense is. NFL coaches know football so well that they see what they have and say, “I can do this with these guys.” And then set the team up to play.

Nagy has his idea of what offense must look like. His personal system . Shan doesn’t have a system. He just knows how to use what he has and create an offense from whatever you give him. The best weapons get focused and usedthe most.

chip kelly is a perfect example of what NFL football isn’t.

shanny doesn't have a system... lol thats some bullshit. He's been running the same shit his whole career and he brings in guys that fit

People aren’t critical. They are biased. Nick Foles hasn’t thrown good passes in a lot of these games and is wildly inconsistent. Someone posted a video of the biggest miss imaginable to Mooney. The same “fans” crucified Mitch for missing that throw by inches or feet. He’s missing them by 5 yards. Crickets. The fan base is just filled with negative people.

I’m glad the Bears didn’t go after him... not at the price paid.
My concern was never talent though... he’s a smart QB... was more so durability issues.

Belichik has a system. It’s called evolving. All great coaches run a system or create one like Bill Walsh.

What’s his system bot? Please explain.

He runs a hybrid/evolved system of what his father ran but the catalyst of the offense is outside zone. Just like his father. No name RBs become household names and TE's are heavily featured. Anyone eligible can and will motion including the fullback. The shanahan's most certainly have a system. It's trickled it's way through the NFL. The Vikings, Titans and Rams offenses are predicated off of Mike Shanahans previous work. Kyle and McVay both came up under him.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
Watched a few 49ers games last season and was totally underwhelmed. He's a game manager.

Do you read what you just wrote.... that’s about the most vague description of a system you could imagine. That’s literally modern NFL offense in it’s entirety. Exception for losing football teams.

A young QB having Belichick/Shanahan mentoring him, both with great running games, is easily best case scenario to grow into a legit QB. And Garappolo still couldn’t do it.

Imagine if he went through Fox/Nagy? Ouch.
if you watch the kollman video on JimmyG he chronicles how he has issues throwing outside the numbers and accuracy, in fact people get on mitch about missing the deep ball but jimmy had a chance to be the super bowl hero, had emmanuel sanders deep at the end of the game and missed him..
