I clamored for Pace to fire Fox and bring in Shanahan. Not sure he would have came if offered, but there's no doubt Shanahan would've schemed to the players strengths and gotten the most out of their matchups. He'll be in San Fran for a long time.

Do you read what you just wrote.... that’s about the most vague description of a system you could imagine. That’s literally modern NFL offense in it’s entirety. Exception for losing football teams.

Jimmy G and Mitch are the same player with mitch having better mobility and Jimmy g having an actual offensive coach, an oline, a stable or running backs, and a tight end.

Not quite. JG is not that great but he has a basic understanding of how to read a defense. That will always be the difference between Trubs and most QBs.
