It's REALLY chafing my damn hide that I have been reduced to rooting for and championing the Bruins. Boston has had a fucking embarrassment of sports riches for over a decade now between the Pats, BoSox and Celtics. This is SUCH cruel clusterfuckery.

4 goals would solidify it. But I really don't see the Canucks getting 3 by Thomas tonight. Guy is playing out of his mind this series and this game even (touch wood..i don't want to jinx it.
Boston sure is a freaking good team when they play their game. I enjoy watching them. I know they are not the cleanest team in the league either but they don't whine and cry when they get it back in their faces. I respect that. If you are going to play a little dirty expect it back and don't ***** about it. Vancouver is the exact opposite...play dirty yet cry when it gets turned on them.

They aren't the cleanest team in the league but thats exactly what you need to counter the Canuck pussies. I am no fan of the Boston Bruins but I sure as hell was right about them being the only team that could match the Canucks phsyically coming out of the east. This might be the night where the Nucks hoisted the Cups had they drawn the Bolts.
The Bruins, out of the East, were BY FAR the best matchup... I've said it from the beginning of the playoffs and obviously I have been right so far =D

Maybe being far separated from other pro sports rivalries and big North American cities I have never had an issue with Boston sporting teams. You all need to explain that one to me. As I have always had a soft spot for teams like the Bruins and the RedSox (dont care about the Patriots though). Is it the Boston sport fan mostly?

Uhhh. . .because it's another major city and I am a born and bred Chicagoan so I begrudge them their assorted Championships? Naturally as a White Sox fan I HATE them because the BoSox are in the AL. Plus as you know for the LONGEST time until 2004 the 3 most non-WS winning teams were the BoSox, White Sox and the Cubs so I spent most of my life not giving a shit about the other two so long as my Sox didn't make it to the centennial mark. Mission accomplished such that I am now happy that BoSox nation got their two WS beause it now means ONLY the Cubs reached the centennial mark of futility, heh! Also, their fans are uber-fucking obnoxious. Also, they have had TOO much good fortune from the sports gods. Period. WTF is next if the B's win the Cup this year, the fucking Revolution are gonna FINALLY win an MLS Cup? It's too much and I feel a little dirty having to stoop to this for the SCF but we must all do what we can to fight off an even greater EVIL in this Canucks team.
