I Wonder how the cap will effect the Nucks, since they are one of the teams introuble.

Just got back from visiting the Canucks boards. Talk about a bunch of whiners. They sound just like their team.

I am asking you guys...do any of you think the Raymond hit is identical to the Horton hit?

For some reason, the fans in Canuckville think that it was a dirty hit just like horton and should deserve the same if not more of a suspension.

Talk about conspiracy theories as well. wow!

I didn't see it as a hit at all. They got tangled up in each other.

Canucks are in good shape in regards to the cap. 13 players signed for $45m. They ought to ice a very similar team as this year if they can get Bieksa and Ehrhoff on some hometown deals, something Gillis seems to be good at doing.

This rant from HFboards is spot on

The Nucks have been left to fend for themselves, and they don't like it; hilarious cry babies. Talk about entitled. Maybe if the Nucks weren't trying to make the refs look ridiculous out there with all the flopping antics, and calling out the officiating in the media during the ENTIRE PLAYOFFS, they might have a few more calls go their way.

The fact that Burrows and LaPierre got away with what they did early in this series, pretty much made it open season on the Canucks for this kind of stuff. They did it to themselves and now they're all: "what did we do to deserve this shabby treatment?". You know ****ing well what you did. Enjoy lying in the bed you've made.

Last time I checked 2 games ago, you guys had the advantage in PP's for this series anyway. Take your PP's and shut up. Maybe even try scoring on a few of em here and there. If the Canucks were half as concerned about fixing their PP, as they are about mouthing off to the media, and lobbying the league for preferential treatment, they might be in a better spot than they're in right now. Whiners.

This team is so much better than this. It's almost a shame to see them stoop so low as to engage the dirty B's in this way. "Don't wrestle with pigs. You'll get all muddy and the pig will like it." WANNA WRASTLE?

The B's might be dirty, but at least they're not arrogant/dumb enough to engage an opponent in the only area where they have us out matched. Let's see if it costs the Canucks on home ice, finally.

I like the B's chances in a game 7 war. Vancouver's the favorite at home, but I know that city is still ******** their pants with a flakey ****ing goalie back stopping the team.

Good luck you're gonna need it, considering the refs are gonna let the teams decide it. That won't be the story the Vancouver fans and media tell, but the rest of the hockey world will decide the truth of it. I'm pretty confident that the B's are viewed as the lesser of 2 evils this time, and that's saying something.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Don't worry, they will have their cap hell--especially if they win it all.

And when I saw the hit i knew it would be painful. If this was a Warner Bros. cartoon, when he was carried back to the locker room his torso would have been an accordian.

Nope not at all, completely different hit. It was a clean hit with a bad result. Horton hit was a bad and late hit with a bad result.

The only thing comparable of the two hits is the fact both Horton and Raymond went to the hospital. Other than that, they are both nowhere near alike.

Canucks are too weak mentally to let the injury do anything but demotivate. That coupled with Rome being out (no big loss but look who they have to play instead...) and the pulling of Lou? I don't know how they can possibly have any confidence going into game 7. They are going to be fighting scrapping banging for anything they can, Bruins need to be strong int he first period, then destroy . kill, delete.

Oh... by the way, did you see they are going to win?

Daniel Sedin: We'll win Game 7

Less than an hour after his team missed a chance to clinch the Stanley Cup in a blowout loss, Daniel Sedin was still confident enough to guarantee his Vancouver Canucks will beat the Boston Bruins in Game 7 on Wednesday night. "We're going to win Game 7," Sedin told the Vancouver Sun.

"We're 3-3 and we won all three games at home and we have the fourth game at home," he said of the series, according to the report. "So we have the seventh game at home and we'll take that. We are confident."

They are still faced with the Ballard signing/ 4 mil per year for 4 years HAHA and A.V. has no confidence to play him, instead they bring up a rookie Dman (Chris Tanev)

I say the Bruins take the Cup in 8 games.

Yes, I said 8 games.

The Bruins win tomorrow and Gillis along with Canuck fandom win their petition with Bettman that they are Canadian and deserved it. They lose game 7 in Vancouver and the only way they will relent is if the Bruins can win again in Game 8 in Boston which the Bruins do 19-1.
