Ah, the old despbro backpedal. I hope your hips are loosened up, remember to time the swivel just right

Stop it. I didn't backpedal. You gave an example and no, Bill Walsh was a respectful head coach.

Continue on.

Id say manly is a pretty big thing in the NFL, no? You think a dorky kinda guy would demand respect from a buncha meatheads who kick the shit outta eachother on 16 Sunday's out of the year?

I think respect goes a long way in the league.

Dick Vermeil is as close to a walking, talking vagina as humanity has ever seen. Meryl Fucking Streep can't weep on command like he could, and he went to multiple SBs and won one. Trestman didn't fail because he looked like a nerd, he failed because he was a hypocrite who preached accountability and then refused to hold anyone accountable.

Your point sucks.

Is this one of those, show me a successful nerd in the NFL and a counter point of, if he is successful in the NFL then he isn't a nerd situations?

If so, it's a moronic statement, point and argument all in one.

Trestman didn't suck because he was a nerd. Trestman sucked because he couldn't gameplan, couldn't call plays, couldn't adjust and just couldn't coach. Trestman has no philosophy and an extremely basic approach to football. It truly blows my mind that a sound organization like the Ravens hired him to be their offensive coordinator. Trestman will get one season with the Ravens and he'll either retire or try and find his way back to Canada. After 2015 Marc Trestman will never coach in the NFL ever again.

Fun fact: Joe Douglas played the center (snapping the ball to Keanu Reeves) for the Sentinels in the movie "The Replacements".

Same arguekent comes from guys who, for whatever reason, are having a really hard time grasping how these guys who are kicking the shit outta eachother 16 weeks a year and are fucking jocks.. Would have a real hard time buying into, believing and wanting to play hard for Trestman.

Why?

COULDNT RELATE.

Veteran Chicago Bears cornerback Tim Jennings described Monday morning's team meeting with Marc Trestman as "weird," after the second-year head coach was fired.

"He's a really smart guy, knows football like the back of his hand. That's not the issue," Brown said. "But there's a lot more to coaching than just X's and O's. You have to be able to deal with players and that's the reason [former Raiders coach] Bill Callahan hasn't succeeded as a head coach because he's a smart guy, knows football like the back of his hand, but when it comes to leading me, it's a totally different intangible you have to have.

it was a little awkward when he spoke. And he didn’t really connect with guys. -Jay feely

Now you're talking about trestman specifically, not nerds in general. Everyone agrees that trestman failed epically as the bears head coach. Where you are going full potato is claiming that any coach who's a "nerd" can't have success. There have been examples of "nerds"(very subjective, I know) who have succeeded by winning the super bowl and you just dismiss the argument as nonsense. I guess this is part for the course though...

Still struggling with what you are not grasping here..

Nerds=football=bad combo

You should probably avoid using math functions. It doesn't seem to be your strong suit.

My point is awkward introverts who don't look the part or are relatable to current athletes in the NFL will not succeed as head coaches.

Nerds, dorks, X's and O's guys... Whatever

You don't have a point. How was Dick Vermeil able to succeed while regularly weeping in front of his players? It certainly wasn't because he was a hard ass.
