Wildcard?

I like your style. if they only beat AFC teams though that's 4-12. I think they'll narrowly miss the mark. I honestly don't think they have the muscle to take the Chargers or Broncos, so who knows, maybe they get the #1 overall pick after all.

I am less worried about Fox playing it safe and more concerned that he took away play calls away from Gase.

If I am Adam Gase...I am not a happy man, especially now that my HC just admitted to doing as much to the local press.

I might remember this when another team calls me up.

(not sayin...just sayin)

The way Gase is calling plays, he won't get any phone calls:(

John Fox is the builder's beige of the paint world.

John Fox is the chicken of the food world.

John Fox is the khaki pants of the clothing world.

John Fox is the Toyota Camry of the automotive world.

John Fox it the Hagar-led Van Halen of the music world.

All decent and fine, but you know there are better, more exciting choices.

I've seen a lot of John Fox coaching and he's not a terrible coach by any stretch of the imagination. He is a conservative coach for sure. But I still think he is the right guy for a rebuild. It should also be noted that Gase was still calling the plays. Fox said run and make them use timeouts, but Gase called the stupid shotgun run up the gut. I hate that play.

I'm still not unhappy with this coaching staff. They have the team playing way better than it should be. Especially on defense. Yes we aren't good on defense but we've got a total of like one guy with any talent for his position in McPhee

Maybe the coach made some poor decisions bit how about the defense not giving up 500+ yards!

I agree but isn't the head coach a defensive minded guy? Yesterday he showed a serious lack of faith in his offense but showed faith in his defense. That told me he isn't very bright.

Good call and it might come back to bite the Bears in the ass.

Does he REALLY have them playing all that better?

The secondary is horrific. The line got zero pressure against a bum O-line on an 0-5 team. They put up over 500 yards of offense and 37 points.

They've won two games - one against an inconsistent Oakland team and the other against a terrible KC team.

You keep referring to the Lions Oline as bad and its flat out false. Stop the stupid, please.

Name one starter on defense besides McPhee that should be starting. If you read what I said, they are playing better than they should. Not that they are playing well. For a defense with little talent and a lot of players running a defense they aren't familiar with they are playing above my expectations. Of course my expectations were a dumpster fire.

I hated the decision but this was a total team loss. Offense couldn't capitalize on a ton of good field position and couldn't convert in the red zone. The defense started off rough and couldn't get a stop when they needed. Coaching was pretty bad..bears deserved to lose and they did. Moving on to Minnesota...

Would you like to prove that? Article after article spoke about the Lions struggling offense and the o line being the weak link.

None other than Big Cat Williams and Olin Kreutz spoke about how bad the line was in regard the lack of pressure that the Bears front got.

Going into the game yesterday, the Lions had scored 11 TDs in 5 games.

They are ranked LAST in the NFL at 3.4 ypg and average 66.5 YPG game AFTER the game yesterday.

Coming into the game yesterday, the Lions were averaging 48 yards per game rushing and 2.8 ypc through 5 games.

They are regarded league wise as having one of the worst o lines in the NFL. That was a big part of the story coming into the game.

So, no, it is you who needs to stop the stupid.
