Agree completely--much more comfortable with him at wing.

It is nice though that if he is in as a forward and someone goes down, he can play about as well as O'Donnell in a pinch. I really hope we keep this guy past this season for his intangibles and the "glue" he gives our team chemistry. Wouldn't mind seeing him on the 4th line with Burish...that tandem could make Vancouver come unhinged.

I really don't see why we wouldn't resign him, he makes league minimum, and I would rather have him sit in the press box, then have him play against us!

And if the Canucks were to play the Rangers in the SCF it would be fun to relive that moment on Burrows, LOL!

I must admit, I am seriously going to miss John Scott....

Since this is the John Scott appreciation thread, here I go --

"Thanks, John, for all you DIDN'T do for the Blackhawks. Yeah, you're a "good locker room guy", but, hey, the game isn't played in the locker room. But apparently you never realized that. Good luck in New York; see you on March 9 at the UC (maybe? maybe not?). OK I'll look up in the press box for you."

Some people will never get it.

By Torts comments today it sounds like Scott will be doing the press box in NY as well.

Who cares if he can help the locker room like he did here.

Hell play against the Broons/Flyhacks/Shitguins... Rangers roster is too deep for him to play every few games like he did with the Hawks.
