My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Michigan Wolverines
  2. Purdue Boilermakers
I have some issue when this overstatement comes up about coaches. A coach that is considered good on one side of the ball can't be so without knowing the other.

Knowing how to beat the opposite side of the ball is not the same as knowing how to build the opposite side of the ball. It's pretty safe to say that Lovie knew how to attack an offense. It's also safe to say he had zero clue how to build one.

People have gotten on Gruden for this trade like he did the unthinkable. If he can get 2 high quality offensive players with the picks then he did the right thing. This is an offense driven league. Mack literally dominated a whole half of football by himself and they could not win bc they have an incompetent offense. In a league now tailor made for offense, good defenses can't sustain dominance on their own, they need help from the offense.

The Bears paid huge to continue to be the Bears, good defense incompetent offense. That doesnt work anymore. Mack will be the awesome HOF player he is and we'll continue to appreciate his play on teams that just aren't good enough to get anywhere.

On a side note, watching Sam Darnold play really cemented how shitty Trubisky is playing. The poor kid is on the Jets, has no oline, no #1 receiver, no #2 receiver hell might not even have a legit #3, has no legit TE and decent rb's and looks like a player. His poise after a pick six, ball placement and overall confidence and play in his first game already added to how glaringly scared Mitch looks in certain spots. I'd say Mitch looks bad at times under pressure but its really not even pressure situations, just things he's supposed to do as an NFL qb

Yeah that is not true Spartan as stated by people who play the game at that level. Maybe when you in the back yard with your kids it may feel that way.

Any pro will tell you that their is game shape and being in shape. One revolves around mental abilities as much as physical. Being out of training camp for half a year would be obvious.

Gruden now taking shots at Carr and claims there is a skunk(rat) in the clubhouse. He's losing this team so fast that it would make Josh McDaniels blush.

As he probably should. Carr was awful and should be held to the same standard as everyone else. If a WR or TE played like that, they would get chewed out so why not the franchise QB? Coaches coddle this overrated and high priced QBs to much.
