English translation? Did you forget to pay your brain bill?

Here derp. Cutler played more games. Here derp. Cutler played in a passing era.
You know when someone falls back on grammar that they are lost.

Can you tell us how much money you save on aspirin annually when you don't have brains enough to get a headache?

Yeah. You know what? I'm sorry. When I responded I missed the part about the average per year.

Going back to the original topic, Cutler will get a milestone this year. And I hope he gets the t-shirt because that's the only thing he's going to get out of it..
It is the only thing we get out of it.

We get T-shirts? XL please

Not the point. Mongo is claiming that Cutler's soon to be TD record is a "longevity record," which makes no sense since he hasn't been here that long (7 years to Luckman's 12).

Cutler also plays in the passing era where ~15-20 QBs are statistically better than him every year. Luckman was one of the best during his career. You can only compare players to their era.

That said, I'm encouraged by the way Cutler is managing the offense under this staff and it was great to see him ball in the 4th qtr last week. Hopefully that continues and develops more the rest of the season.

Don't go soft. Mike Vick balled in the 4th quarter too. Defenses just seem to fold towards the end of games.

It was wise of you to abandon the argument. Smartest thing you've done in this thread.
If you had a brain, you'd have seen I never started an argument. I only explained what someone else meant by calling it a longevity record.

If you had the ability to comprehend, you'd know I didn't claim you started it. Good try though skippy.

Not everything is a negative. Cutler is fun to watch when he plays like that. That isn't going soft, it's just being real and giving credit where it's due.

Royal wasn't on the field last game and Bennett dropped nearly everything thrown to him.

Wasn't the point anyway. My response was to Mongo's statement about Cutler being below his career average this year. Which frankly, I don't care that much about. He is in general playing a safer game thanks to Gase's play calling and game planning.

The same people that cry about Cutler chucking the ball all over and taking unneeded chances are the same people crying about his numbers being down this year because of a more conservative game plan.

And lets be honest here, when your starting WRs are Meredith, Wilson and Bellamy (who have like, what, 4 combined starts between them?) your offensive production is going to be stymied. And Gase has done a good job coming up with a conservative, safe game plan to accommodate for both the QB and the inexperienced WRs

This is truth at its finest.

I'm pretty certain Chicago would be 0-5 without Cutler at the helm right now. I'm also certain Chicago would be 0-5 with Trestman and Cutler at the helm right now.

Numbers never have and never will tell the whole story. Cutler is playing better so far. That's not to say there isn't room for improvement. Theres plenty. This Offense will potentially be scary in one years time after a full off season and good fortune on the injury front. Gase is worth his weight in gold as an OC.

When we talk Jay Cutler, yes, everything is negative and there is no credit due with 0 playoff wins over a team with a winning record in 9 years. He is one of the most prolific losers in the NFL. And a bottom feeder who can only get you wins against the worst teams as long as the defense plays very well.

Totally agree. Unfortunately it's a big possibility that this is Gase's first and last year with the Bears. I have a feeling once teams see what he did with Cutler, that he'll be a coveted.
