Totally agree. Unfortunately it's a big possibility that this is Gase's first and last year with the Bears. I have a feeling once teams see what he did with Cutler, that he'll be a coveted.

Nothing new really as he's already been looked at for HC jobs. It's just a matter of time. However Great Coordinators generally have good understudies. I'm more than positive that Fox & Pace have already went over this scenario apon hiring.

I'm willing to bet that if Gase does leave, the bears aren't stuck installing yet another new offensive system the following year.

No, you just have no brain.

Well um, I'm rubber, you're glue. Whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you. Derr.

Sorry. I was curious what it was like to use an elementary insult. You know, the whole walk a mile in your shoes thing.

If brains were dynamite, you wouldn't have enough to blow your nose.

My God son is 8 years old and is capable of a more compelling argument then what I've been reading.

I should sign him up in here to give lessons on dropping proper Zingers from the Elementary level. Gotta start somewhere.

God, I hope we don't end up with yet another offense. I hope you are right and that they are grooming someone to take over if Gase does leave. Even more concerning would be losing Fangio. That would be rough.

Indeed. I don't think we have to worry as much about Fangio.he would have gotten that call already. He had a crack at the SF job. I think he's a lifer. I think he's here as long as Fox lasts. Other than the SF job his name never gets circulated as a legit candidate. He's also pushing 60.

I would be ecstatic if he was here for years.
