Nix was 8th in +20 yard passing. 10 more than Daniels. Discounting their play does not make CW better. I think he'll be special enough but he wasn't this year. I like the signs and the player but he's not all that until he's actually all that.

And discounting CWs play doesn't make CW worse.

He's a rookie who showed promising flashes in an adverse situation.

Who TF did that? Stop with the blind bias and check who you're conversing with.

No blind bias whatsoever. Caleb has a ways to go. But I am also not going to shit on the dude, because he had a pretty typical rookie season with flashes of great sprinkled in.

Hard to be sure where this goes but he's more creative than Herbert. The thing about CW is that he sometimes seems very aware and other times kinda oblivious to the easy yards. Less so later in the year and I think he needs an OC with more in play rules until he figures it out. He's fine at making it up once things break down.
CW is a better overall talent than Herbert

To be fair, I suspect you're right but I don't know that until CW is more consistent downfield.

CW in year one is one of the least accurate deep passers I can ever remember seeing, I mean he was way off over and over. He is spectacular sprinting from sideline to sideline throwing across his body, its the normal pass in the 15+ yard range he was atrocious. If that doesn’t turn around significantly in year 2 we have a serious issue with him.
