Partying at a frat party in Madison, WI for Cinco de Mayo, and getting so drunk he passed out on the bar. Also hearing rumors that he was kicked out of the party as a result of an altercation with a female. At what point does he stop and think before acting? Getting so drunk you black out isn't the smartest thing to be doing as a famous, millionaire hockey player. All it takes is one whack-job drunken chick to scream rape to cause him some serious problems. I obviously have no idea if the rumors of him grabbing a girl by the neck are true, but why put yourself into that situation to begin with? He's obviously absolutely WASTED in these pictures, so believing the rest of the story after the cabby incident isn't that big a stretch. I've heard from several people that have seen him out at the bars in Chicago that he's a belligerent asshole when he's drunk too... He is well known amongst the bar scene in Chicago. Oh, and if you're going to take drunken pictures with girls, can you at least find some above average ones to do it with?

But honestly, he's a human being, like the rest of us, and if he wants to get drunk and pose with women (any women, regardless of how they look, because really? really? that kind of beauty myth bullshit is so over. really!) that's fine by me. Do I want him to play hockey well? Hell yes I do. Do I think he should be respectful of those women and other people? Of course. Do I know anything truth about his behaviour? No. I don't.



But I do enjoy these photos. And I didn't even need paparazzi to get them. So good.

Kane seems like a dude who can't take his liquor. The only respectable drunk (read: pro-drunk) is the one that drinks, has fun, skips the asshole part before finally peacefully passing out somewhere. I think you misunderstand my point. Being in situations in a public venue where everyone has a cell phone with a camera is something to be conscious of especially when you are a high profile individual. It also applies to every person where everything can be shared immediately with the world. I am not being specific to Kaner.



Todays generation almost seems immune to the picture issue. They are so used to it that it does not seem to phase them. In regards to your comment of everyone having been there in that situation it is true however, in my day at that age we did not have cell phones with cameras, FB and the internet. The other thing to consider is the choice to be in situations where perception is key.

Very well said! Again it's the idiots that throw shit out there without having clue #1 of what they are talking about. And not just with the "kane pictures".... As if they were any better at that age. I know I wasn't. Other than honestly wasn't lucky enough to have my choice of any woman I wanted, or to be a millionare at 18yrs old.
