Most of us IHF it wouldn't have mattered. We were not important enough for anyone to give a shit. I wish they were as I'd love to look back at some of those crazy times and see just how crazy we were. Gotta love technology. Kaner should live in a bubble. JT must be.

Um car accident photos? The only one missing was him falling out of the car holding his head.

I just thought it was funny(the troll on the right is worth the post alone), and would spark up some conversation. This site has been pretty dead since the Hawks went golfing. I don't know, if I had all the money in the world at 23-24, I don't think I'd be at a block party in Madison for Cinco de Mayo, hanging out with a bunch of college kids. I don't give a **** what he does in the offseason, but come on Kaner! Up your game! Shouldn't he be landing some high profile tail or something? Instead he's slumming in Madison.
<

As a high profile athlete, you would think he'd be a little more cognizant about his surroundings and the situations he puts himself in as well. Especially after the cabby incident. I don't know many 23-24 year olds that go to frat parties, do you? That's something you do as a senior in high school...not after you are past college. To think he's missing the World Championships and representing team USA to party in Madison? Yikes.

Well, that was kind of the point. But seriously though. He can do better RK!

I'm in no position to tell him he can do better, or judge what he's doing. It's his time, have fun, be ready in Sept.

Good for him.

And I don't know about you but I was at MANY huge parties like that when 23. Part of living in a college town I suppose.

At 23 my friends and I had moved well past those types of parties. More trouble than they're worth most of the time. Then again, Kaner hasn't ever really had time to BE that stupid, drunk college kid, with his hockey career, so I can definitely understand it.

I would just think he would be trying to protect himself better, as a rich, superstar hockey player. Putting yourself into that situation isn't very smart, as any number of things could go wrong with that much alcohol, and that many stupid young kids(as you're aware). What happens if he hooks up with a chick there, and she turns out to be under age? What happens if he gives a girl a drink at the party, and she turns out not to be 21? What happens if he gets into a drunken brawl and puts a kid in the hospital? He's not just putting himself into a position for his character to be questioned by idiots, but the legal trouble he's opening himself up to is the big thing here to me. I think the best part of this though is picturing McDickhole having a coronary when he found out about it. You know this has him pissed off.

into what situation? Being out having a good time. Give me a fucking break.

at 23 I lived in a college town with a super hot GF and was out at many parties all the time. Guess some of us didn't "move pass" those type of parties. It was a college town.

You questioned it, you started the thread! LOL!

Again who fucking cares.

Maybe that's Kaners master plan. Get McD so flustered about these PR disasters that he gets that coronary and retires from the front office.

At 23 you were still in college, no? And the situation is completely different, as you're not a rich celebrity that is open to scrutiny and vulnerable to any number of accusations.

Being out having a good time. I'm sure that's what Ben Roethlisberger was thinking too when he was out partying at a night club with some buddies and a few girls.

Kobe probably thought the same thing.

Tiger Woods... ah nevermind. I think you get the point here.

I think that drinking too much and taking your shirt off in a limo != being accused of rape and your wife destroying your car involving police action.

Did Kane do anything illegal? Passed out at a bar, wearing terrible shirts, and getting pictures with chicks doesnt seem illegal to me.

If not, then it is the same as watching that celebrity pointless rumor show. Never underestimate the mob's love of dirty laundry.

That's a huge leap.

There's a pretty big difference between getting bombed and being accused of sexual assault, unless you're privy to info we don't have.

Actually I was in grad school so technically I was out of college, but still went out on the weekends.

Again, I don't live in a glass house, would I be more careful if I were him, I don't know, I'm not him. I don't give a shit what he does as long as when Sept comes he and the rest of them are ready to play. Just like he was last year, the year before, and or the year before that.

I kinda did too. After I went to raunchy fucked up house parties 3 days a week from like age 18-22 or so. I dont think Kane had nearly the time I had on my hands to get fucked up like all the time. It doesnt surprise me that he wants to do those sorts of things. I got a shit ton of stupid partying out of my system over the 6 years I was in college. So it doesnt surprise me if he wants to get stupid drunk and party if he didnt have a shit ton of opportunities.

Even that's an assumption from the picture. Theres no telling he was passed out vs maybe laughing with his head down. Again it's a picture. Why it's a conversation, who knows. Cutlers giving the finger to a papparazzi the other day while walking the dog was a topic of conversation too.

Who cares.

All it takes is some crazy drunk ***** that he hooks up with to cry rape, no? Those guys were never convicted of rape or sexual assault, but you bet your ass they paid a lot of money to make those allegations go away. After all, it doesn't have to be true. The point is, why even put yourself into a situation like that with all those drunk college kids?

How did he get so buff in rehab? Clearly putting on 15 pounds of muscle in a few. Months means he wasn't taking care of his body, right?

I would have loved to have seen Kaner able to continue working out last summer, instead of having to have wrist surgery. Seems to have set him back a bit.
