Also, please stop putting me on blast for your forum problems desperado. I'm not the source. If you have issues with certainposters take it up with them, don't put that shit on me. I just came in here to talk hip hop.

Doomtrees new album was the one I was anticipating the most this early 2015 and I have not been disappointed by it one bit. Strange collaboration when you look at the individuals on their own but they keep hammering out very good albums when they come together in my opinion. Dessa blows me away with her mic abilities. She isn't even a hip hop artist by nature but she pulls it off. Doomtree might be slightly too "electronic" for some though which I understand they have been known to produce highly with synthesizers sometimes. That doesn't bother me too much I don't think they ever cross the line into techno.

I can't remember how to post these youtube links properly cause Im dumb as ****

El-P is by far my favourite producer and mc right now. His beats and his composition are unlike anything I have ever heard. Cancer For The Cure is one epic album in my opinion..such apocalyptic feelings through the album its kind of erie at parts. So many tasty layers. Him and Killer mike in Run The Jewels blow me away also, great combo.

BB, the thing about Kanye is he makes alllll his own beats most of the time. That takes the most time. Sampling and building a beat sounds easy and all but it isnt.

Disagree. My buddy who is a Session player comes over sometimes and makes sick beets I like 10 mins. He Also made some chick legit cry when he did a lecture up at NIU and said alor of country songs are written in 10 mins and no writer gives a **** bout the lyrics.

He makes good beets n wrote some shit you'd rap over in legit 10 mins

why are you fartards up so late? I took tomorrow off for a trial in the morning (insurance, not our fault, we just had to testify, but it was settled out of court on our side today), and a final round of job interviews in the afternoon.

I am having one more beer and one more online poker tournament and going to bed.

It works all ways though. I know guys who can quickly pick up 4 instruments and layer really good tracks with them that can be sung over right away. These are what we call the talented people I guess. You buddy sounds like he has talent. Most session players are though from my experiences with them because they are versatile as hell. My old man could write and produce 5 songs a day and did in his manic moments (and there were a lot of those moments). Some were pretty good some were absolute trash. Thats not uncommon in music production though is it.

Lets not get into country songs though hahahahaha. To each there own but that is one genre where I have never found many relationship with unless its the classic edgy guys like Cash, Jennings, Kristofferson and to a lesser extent the Hank Williams jr types. The Outlaw guys I suppose they are called. I don't think they fluffed down songs and brought some real life themes into their music other than drinking beer and driving trucks...but do I stereotype country music.

Had an awesome day today, awesome night, winding down. Maybe had a few too many and should be going to bed soon.

Today is my Friday. I'm off Wed and Thurs so I usually come home and drink until I just fall asleep. It's usually around 7 am. Good times.
