Why does discussing the NBA got to turn into personal attacks and name calling.
Can't everyone just agree to disagree?
You guys are all ridiculous.
Now let me get into the name calling battles and I get banned..
Hmmmmm, sound a little unfair to SP. :dunno:

I agree with Glide2Keva ESPN is filled with Heat homers I bet they told Michael Wilbon before the start of the NBA season to say the Heat would win 58 games or he would get fired.

That 58 wins was discussed on this forum at the beginning of the season:

http://www.chicitysports.com/forum/chicago-bulls-forum/19049-72-10-a.html

Obviously didn't happen, but that was the comparison of beating the Bulls 72-10 record that many seem the Heat should easily be able to do.

72 wins is almost impossible and not easy for any team in history to do.
Even the 1960s Celtics would have a difficult time doing that.
That's what singles out the 96 Bulls team from the rest and makes them so special.

Any record can be touched..some like this one are extremely difficult. I don't think the Heat will ever touch the record. They collectively take too many nights off. They also lack the supporting cast to make it happen.

Scottie Pippen once said ON NATIONAL TELEVISION that the 2005 Pistons could break their team record....THE FRIGGIN 2005 PISTONS!!!

So why don't you all go find Pip and burn him at the stake?
Why would I do that? Pip talks out of his ass sometimes. No team is beating that record. Just like no team is going to win 34 in a row, no player will have a 57 game hit steak in baseball.

No team has a shot at that. One team has won over 70. Two teams won 69, a few won 68, a few more won 67. But ONE team has won 70.

That's it.

What are you talking about? Lebron guarenteed 8 straight championships, that would be almost a record ... :slap:

Pippen's just talking out of his ass...but not Wilbon?

Wilbon is part of some company-wide conspiracy to hate on the Bulls right?

Never mind the fact that Pippen said that WHILE WORKING FOR ABC/ESPN!!!

I am putting the stake in the ground now man...go get the matches and gasoline...

Yep.

Nah, he's a homer. Right?

Never mind the fact that Pippen said that WHILE WORKING FOR ABC/ESPN!!!
Your point? He's still wrong. No one is touching that record. Just like the Cubs are never going to win the World Series again.

I am putting the stake in the ground now man...go get the matches and gasoline.
And what purpose would that serve?

Can't we all just agree that EPSN blows overall, homers or no homers?

Yep.

Nah, he's a homer. Right? He has stated that he is partial to the Bulls, Cubs, Bears and Northwestern. But, he is also very critical of those teams, more critical of them than you are...maybe you don't pay him much attention because he doesn't hate Lebron James. That means he is not a real Bulls fan right?

Your point? He's still wrong. No one is touching that record. Just like the Cubs are never going to win the World Series again.

And making that statement makes you such a big Bulls fan...right? Oh, and I big White Sox fan too...right?
