What can I say? I'm an Ozzie fan. Chicago baseball would be boring without him.lol @ anyone actually standing up for Ozzie. He's a dunce.

If it was lucky, then I want that kind of luck around. I don't remember any other managers around Chicago getting lucky enough to win a World Series, so what the hell.
No need to apologize.Oh, I'm sorry
I haven't had any orgies, but that's a good idea. Thanks.Great, you have an orgy for him because he was our manager while we won a World Series, now move on.
Lefty said:No, you see, you're missing the point: The Sox won the World Series in 2005 more from a run of luck than they did Ozzie's abilities as a manager, that's what I'm saying. Obviously the team had to be good enough to make the playoffs, but when you look at all that happened that season and during the playoffs, there are a lot of once-in-a-great-while things that went the Sox' way, most of which had absolutely nothing to do with Guillen.
Ozzie isn't some good luck charm that unlocked some kind of run for the team, he was just the guy filling out the lineups when the the entire bullpen and most of the starting rotation started firing on all cylinders at the same exact time, and the Sox just happened to be the team fortune selected to take the top prize (studies show that, at most, 20% of playoff success is explainable by team tendencies and composition, the rest is either unquantifiable at present or just plain old luck, and if you look at how the playoffs are constructed and what kind of game baseball actually is, you should be inclined to lean towards the latter explanation).
Well, I think Ozzie is all of that and a bag of potatoe chips(BBQ, not ruffles). I won't be able to say anything really without you writing paragraph after paragraph telling me how wrong I am. I'm a Guillen fan and always will be. No way you write your way into making me believe otherwise, and visa versa. So I won't even waste my time.
Well then don't ask people to "please make sense" when they're debunking your ridiculous beliefs, because I have been nothing but logical and sensible this entire time, yet your only come back is "I don't have the willpower to deal with people proving me wrong, so deal with it". Perfect
Ozzie should stay. I'm glad Reinsdorf agree's. Your posts are great, but you use stats/studies that most people have no idea about(and really shouldn't if you're the average pro baseball fan). Regardless of whatever studies or baseball masturbation that you have obviously gone into, Ozzie will be one of the best managers in Chicago baseball history. Why argue with you and waste my time to prove my point when I'm not half as committed as you are?
You win the trophy for your E-Valor and unrelenting internet arguing. You go above and beyond the call of duty, son.
Now go about your business, Stewart Scott.
Please, you have done nothing but repeatedly state "Ozzie is good", that's not "making a point", that's just "being a blithering moron that isn't capable of thinking his way out of a paper bag". Go spew your bullshit somewhere else.
But I thought you were so concerned about my posting activity!:smoke:
Why put "making a point" in quotations? Who are you quoting? Certainly not me. Also, who are you quoting with "being a blithering moron that isn't capable of thinking his way out of a paper bag"? That guy must be an asshole.
And yes, Ozzie is good.
**** pud, I gotta start using that. "Good one!"Quotations aren't used just to attribute direct quotes to people, they can also be used to highlight irony, etc., you worthless fucking pud.
I'm from InsideHoops, not WSI, **** pud. I like this site. I think I'll be staying around. And yeah, I was worried about keeping threads active and whatnot, that is until I realized what a complete fucking tool you are. Go back to WSI if you want to suck of Ozzie for no good reason and completely close yourself off from logical arguments.

I'll try harder next time. I promise. If you're going to use "pud", at least use it correctly.
The expectation bar is set quite low, so don't hurt yourself trying.
Still not using it right.
White Sox.
