My favorite teams
If that is the case do it!Smith likely gets tagged and then traded for a 3rd like DB Sneed the year before.

Read a few articles on it, it’s very feasible for them. And it seems like Thuney might be their LT going forward so they can replace Thuney with a vet or rookie next year at LG.They would have to do a fair amount of cap magic to place the tag on him.
I would love to have him back but would think he's looking for a win now team with this being the last what, 2 -3 years of his career? I mean if he thought about retirement after this season ended for him then i would think that thought will be in his head after next season as well. So i'm a yes but don't think he'd choose us with all the other teams that'll offer him contracts.
3rd round pick followed with a $21+ mil per year contract. Could end up the highest paid G in the NFL.If that is the case do it!
As long as it doesn't keep the Bears from investing draft capital in the dline, I'd be all about it.
If the Bears Bear on this then it'll be Tevin Jenkins that they sign for LG at a cheap price and he's a Super Bowl winner and pro bowler when the season is over.Read a few articles on it, it’s very feasible for them. Don't Bear Bears.
Let’s hope so!I thought that originally as well, but latest out of the KC beat reporters is that they think he escapes without being tagged.
I don’t get this angst over Tevin. If the Bears Bear on this then it'll be Tevin Jenkins that they sign for LG at a cheap price and he's a Super Bowl winner and pro bowler when the season is over.

Yes, he will be expensive, it works to where you can trade for him, the Bears would eliminate contract competition and be able to work out a contract that will benifit both.3rd round pick followed with a $21+ mil per year contract. Could end up the highest paid G in the NFL.
He’s a ginger.I don’t get this angst over Tevin.
Yes but they might want compensation for this year as opposed to waiting for next year.KC will already get a comp pick for him signing elsewhere, so them twisting themselves into knots by wasting their tag on him and then trying to trade him to a willing suitor seems like a lot of work if they're good without him either way.
I wonder if the Commanders will try to trade one of their DT's in Jonathan Allen or Daron Payne after drafting Jer'Zhan Newton in last years draft?Bring him home. Looks like the Bears are going to be out of reach anyways to get the 2 best DL in the draft, so you figure they'll go for an OT with their 1st round pick, which means they probably will have to go the free agency route to find another edge rusher, for now, and Mack would be a good get.
He's played DE before at an All-Pro level. In Dennis Allen's schemes, he'll probably be all over the place. I think he'd be a great fit here, assuming he'd have interest.
