What's interesting.
Chargers were first in the NFL in Points Against. Really. Oddly, they were 7th in Sacks (Top 10), but had ZERO rushers over 8 sacks.
So they had the best defensive unit in football and had one of the best pass rushes, but did not have a single player above 10 sacks. What's so interesting about that is the team effort associated with the entire defense this year. You must applaud that on some level.
As to Mack, dramatic drop in sacks, but as highlighted, that was universal for the roster at they were 7th in sacks, but it spread around. Does not change that he is 33 and looking towards to the end of his career.
My guess is that he gets a 2-3 year stint somewhere to close it out. If I were him, I'd be looking at favorable situations defensively versus the highest bidder. I imagine playing for Fangio intrigues him so that could bring in Phi. I do not know if he would want to come back to Chicago based on how things ended and he was sent packing by Poles. So I doubt there is much interest overall.
