I'm not sure I'd agree with that. If they made it to the playoffs, it would mean that they'd be going in as winners of their last 6 games, including 4 in a row against playoff-caliber teams. It's not going to happen, but we've seen wildcard teams make a deep run in the postseason because they're coming in hot. The Packers did it in 2010, the Giants both years they won the SB.
Sometimes, you just have to be clicking at the right time, and if the Bears made it in, it would mean that they've really figured something out, which would make them dangerous.

This is true. If they made a run, sure, things would be different. I just can’t see them doing it. The defense isn’t as scary as it once was, and the offense is only occasionally decent against crap teams. This just isn’t a playoff team and I doubt that changes over the next 4 games.
