Hou, what do you think good ol Fred Pfeiffer would have to say on this subject? :smug:

I talk with Fred everyday, in fact we've broached the subject of BG several times on the show together, & believe me, he feels anyone picking Hinrich over BG should have themselves committed.

LOL @ all this inconsistent crap with Gordon. Of course he had bad shooting nights. Any good scorer does. But when his shot was not falling, he got to the line, where he shot at an 85% clip. He led our team in FTA's the last 3 years he was on the team. That gets over looked all the time in these debates.

This statement doesn't make any sense to me or any relation. To the subject matter of this thread. I feel more dumb for taking the 60 seconds to read it...
Sockpuppets?????? Really?????????? Are you trying to imply that me and megatron are the same person???? I must say that this is really funny to me and I guess I neede the laugh. :dunno: Thank you for the entertainment....your generosity will not go unnoticed.

No, I am not saying that you two are the same person. But if it took you 60 minutes to read 4 seconds worth of text, then you didn't need my help. :D

The question who was more important, Hinrich or Gordon, is a tough one!

Usually the scorer is more important. Gordon has been the topscorer of the team for years. And as the topscorer you take a specific number of shots per game. If they don´t fall you might lose the game, but for which team isn´t this the case. *cough* Kobe! *cough*

I just think Gordon deserved the starting SG spot and that´s where I have a problem with the coaches. You start offense over defense (Boozer -> Gibson) but they started Sefolosha over Gordon. It´s like starting Watson over Rose! Ben had the right to be pissed imo!

As for Hinrich: Very good PG who controlled the game pace of a game pretty well. He directed the offense like he should as a PG, keeping everybody involved. He pretty much did a little bit of everything. 12 points and 5 assists are good, decent stats but they are not THAT great. And LOL to those who criticize Hinrich for having slighly more turnovers at the beginning than BG7. As a PG you are allowed to have 2 per game because you handle the ball most of the time. And Kirk´s numbers went down over the years. Gordon´s has gone up and he once averaged 3 per game, as the OFF GUARD!

Where Hinrich had his edge was defense. He guarded the better guard of the other team and was known as a Wade killer! This is something I would like to have right now!

Overall I think Hinrich and Gordon were a nice 1,2 punch who complemented each other very well! Imo they were pretty equally important to the team but although Hinrich is one of my favorite players I might give a little edge to Ben Gordon because you need someone to put the ball in the basket.

Great offense beats great defense usually!

We all know Ben Gordon would be nice to have at the team now (for less money for sure). He could even start for the Bulls today. But would there still be a spot for Kirk? If Kirk is better than Watson, that is the question.

Then why didn´t the Bulls win last year? It´s not that the Miami defense was that good!

You don´t have to be a great defensive team if you can focus on one player!

That just about sums up the whole 2011 Bulls-Miami playoff series in 1 sentence.
Short,Sweet and 100% TRUE in everyway.
