JR Smith will be a KNICK........GODDENG IT!!!
I would rather he went to the Clippers because I fucking hate the Knicks..
We will possibly see them in the playoffs...I know we can beat them, but the Knicks will be much improved and deeper...they are no longer a joke and we better not take them likely .

Well so much for that :dunno:
A tear rolled down my face reading that article.:crying:

The Knicks need Landry Fields on the floor for his tough defense and rebounding. J.R. Smith gives them an extra shooter and we saw how well that worked in Denver next to Carmelo Anthony. He might help the Knicks offensively but he will also hurt them with his over-dribbling and chucking. And he won't help them defensively at all.

lmao, an overrated undrafted PG, a ballhog in Melo, an Amare w/ no knees, and now JR Smith. Yup, sounds formidable.

Pretty much this. Amare just isn't explosive anymore and the Knicks were banking on that to be competitive.

I would respect Smith more if he went to the Clippers.
I thought he didn't like riding Melos coattails and wanted to make a name for himself.
Now hell just be Melos *****.....He has to step back behind Amire and Melo....Now hell just be a third wheel again like he was in Denver again.....And it didn't work out to great for him..
If he would of became a Bull, he could of saved his career and becaome somebody.....

The Knicks can rot in Hell, and if SMITH IS WITH THEM, HE CAN TOO......he is now the enemy and I'm gonna come at him full force...Deng and Rose got my back....

lol

Lin is a very skilled player. He had these numbers with Amare and Melo out because he was free to do whatever he wanted and he had the ball in his hands for many minutes. His passing skills is what the Knicks need from him with Melo in the court. His addition is an improvement to their team.
JR Smith can score but will he get the ball ever? They have Melo,Amare,Chandler and Lin himself will take some offenses on his own.Is there enough time for the ball to be in JR Smith's hands? He will be pissed off in no time and he will ruin their locker room. His addition is a bad move imo.Bad choice for JR Smith too.The Clippers would be the best fit.

What defense? still remains. So they won't be a difficult team to beat. You know that you only play defense against them and you probably win the game. But when you have 5 skilled guys in the court you can win games. So that's why I want to watch them first to see how they roll.

One thing for sure, a Knicks vs Bulls playoff series is somthing I have missed over the years.
I hope they do face each other in the postseason. Would be very entertaining and answer a lot of questions.

Lol...what? Amare is explosive, and plays at an all star level. He struggled with Carmelo but that should be resolved with playing time. And the Knicks ARE competitive, and should be with 2 legit allstar forwards playing with Lin, who I think is the real deal.

If they co-exist well enough, the Knicks might have the best frountcourt in the league. Right there with OKC and Memphis.

Now that JR Smith is out of the picture, the new official Megatron & SP94's "bring back Ben" campaign begins, effective immediately.

That's what I've benn trying to tell everyone.
I hope they listen to you.
The Knicks just can't be underestimated or overlooked anymore.

Not only do they have one of the strongest frontcoourts in the NBA, they have one of the best defenders in the paint in Chandler.

Lin is no joke.
This reminds me of when Rondo first appeared.
Everyone thought he was a fluke.
With a front court like Amare and Melo,Lin will strive...not only will his assists go up in time, but When Melo returns, Lin will also have more open looks.
All Lin has to do is work on his turnovers, and Melo will bring some relief for Lin by being the other ball handler.

Now add JR Smith to the equation....Bam, now they have deadly scorers in the front and backcourt that cannot be left unguarded...

And don't forget, Baron Davis when healthy gives them even more depth.
Even the best defense will have a hard time stopping 4 legitimate scorers on the court at the same time.

DON'T FORGET TO MENTION, THAT MELO IS STILL THE BEST SCORER IN THE LEAGUE.

Its really a tough decision on who to double team in there starting lineup when healthy.
The best way would have to be 1 on 1 defense so noone is left open.
BUT, the problem is, if the Bulls face them, they have 3 mismatches if Smith does sign with them.

Melo in reality is better than Deng.

Staudamire in reality is better than Boozer.

Smith is a hell of a lot more athletic, and faster than oldman Rip. Plus can create anywhere on the floor.

And Chandler, hmmmmm  might be a pretty even matchup with Noah.

And if Lin keeps playin like he is, Rose may have his work cut out for him...But of course Rose obviously wins that matchup...

The knicks are a tougher team than there currant record.

Yes we have better chemistry and more depth for now, but I'm pretty sure the Knicks will improve at least chemistry wise when they get it together....

Now as far as JR Smith is concerned..
I am more upset that he most likely will be a knick than I am with him not being a bull..
Pax should of at least made an attempt to get him to stall new york......I don't care what anyone says on this forum, the reality is that Smith will make the knicks alittle better at the very least...Adds depth to there lineup....

Seriously people, if the playoffs started today, the knicks would be our first round opponant.
I'm not saying it should scare anyone, but guddaym......That won't be no average first rouund for the bulls...They better be at there upmost best, or else the Knicks very possibly have some of the tools in place for an upset.
