not worried about the Knicks AT ALL, they still don't play Defense, while all this Lin HYPE is entertaining, lets not over look the fact that he been playing well against BAD TEAMS other then the Lakers and everybody knows just about every Decent PG light up the Lakers

I would love to see the Bulls put a end to this Knicks HYPE, they still don't play Defense but Lucky for them during this 7 Game Stretch, neither does the Teams they played against (T'Wolves, Wizards, Kings...)

so keep the hype coming for the Knicks

Like I have said before their real test is next week (Dallas, Atlanta, and Miami).

That said, the Knicks stats are actually in favor of them defensively. They are kind of an odd ball right now. They are 13th in ppg, and 13th in oppg. They are 24th in offensive rating and 6th, yes 6th, in defensive rating. They are 2nd in the league in steals.

Offense:

NYK points per 100 possessions:

98.1 (23rd/30th)

Defense:

NYK opponents' points per 100 possessions:

97.7 (10th/30th)

Their defense is actually not so horrible.

He'll surely make an impact, but what are they gonna do with Fields?

We need to take into account the lineups they've had on the floor lately with Melo & Stat out. Shumpert, Walker, Jeffries, & Chandler are all good to great defenders. Fields is solid too. When Melo, Stat, & soon to be JR take the floor, we will see a dramatic shift in the defense NY plays.

When it comes to the important categories, the ones that separate the good from the bad (rebounding, pt differential, opp. fg%) they are near or at the bottom of all the current playoff teams. That is why New York does not scare me.

not this year...their offense has actually been what's holding them back a little

thats why jeremy lin was so pivotal for this team....he's not only a good scorer but can run an offense well...and the knicks need a PG..i mean its a d'antoni system

diddy made a good point though...the team will become more offense oriented once amare and melo are back

they're not great defenders...

i think the knicks are better on D overall than last year though(i mean melo has only missed 8 games..amare 6 ...so its not like they've been gone the whole season or anything)

15 of their 30 games have been played against the bottom ten offenses this year. 9 of their 30 games have been played against the bottom 5 offenses. They played the Bobcats 3 times (giving up 118 points in one of those games) and the Wizards, Raptors, Kings, and Pistons twice each. You have to admit that their defensive numbers are seriously skewed. If they’re ranked in the top ten after they have played better offenses and when the season is over, I will concede that they have a good defense.

Well guys, you didn't hear me ***** about the Smith sweepsstakes today.
**** it I've already moved on, but know I was right and PAX FUCKED UP.

But its cool, we will just wait and see what round we get knocked out of the playoffs this year.
It will be fun.
Then after we watch some other teams in the finals, we can then reflect on PaxGarrs mishaps and lack of action....
After that we can prepare and expect to watch Howard sign out West somewhere before the end of the summer...
You know, same old shit just like every year.
I'm so excited, arnt you?

Fucking awsome dudes!!! Cowabunga. Pax frickin rocks :clap::clap:

Seriously, shut the **** up with this shit. How about supporting the team instead of your daily trolling? Get over yourself. No one wanted Smith on this team and Paxson and Gar were right in not bringing his cancerous ass here.

Again, this year Bulls have no shooters that can hit long distance shots stable. why management aren't looking for a shooting guard that has athletic ability and great shooter? they don't like j.r. because he is a thug or what? they didn't sign k-mart, j.r. smith, i hope they will talk with wilson chandler at least
