As of yesterday they were over the cap by a few million. NFL probabky gave then a notice they have to cut down. Just guessing though..

Yeah, looking at the 2021 CB contracts list, Fuller might have been on track to be the highest paid CB this year which is surprising.

Would you rather have Trubisky and Fuller OR Andy Dalton? Its called logical thinking. It doesn't mean we love Trubisky. Just that he was worth more than 2.5 mil for us.

Not sure it's melodrama to think that cutting Fuller is a catastrophe when they literally just cut Buster Skrine(not my favorite player, but still another CB on this team) to sign Deon Bush and hold on to valued assets like Jimmy Graham and IFEDI. Let's not forget that while Jaylon Johnson was great last season, he missed the whole last quarter of it injured in the same way he's been injured before, so expect that again and again.
