It's cool... definately different and if you are expecting anything like GTA, you are in for a huge surprise. It is a MUCH slower-paced game.
I'm digging it... I'm on case 6 or 7. The first few cases are just tutorials, basically. It can be really hard to read certain people's faces. Some people I can read them right off the bat, but others... I have a real hard problem whether saying "doubt" or "lie" and have fucked up 3 different times because of that.
It is different but cool. Hopefully, I can pick up on the subtle differences between "doubt" and "lie" because if it is just chance and you have to get lucky, that will be super ***.

This game is so amazing i loves investgation games so i am in heaven with this game so far it looks so good and plays just as good.

Just got promoted to Homicide im on the Red Lipstick murder case. Very graphic crime scene with a naked women beat to death.

the differnce between a doubt and a lie is with doubt you cant prove they are lieing(but you know they are). But with a lie you have evidence that can back up your claim they are lieing. Thats the Only difference so check your clues before picking between a lie or doubt.

I like it so far. I wouldn't say that anything stands out so far as being "OMG this is amazing" but it's pretty solid. I like the acting, cutscenes and detective gameplay so far. The driving is pretty average, as is the shooting/fighting. Nothing that ruins it, just doesn't stand out. Trying to decide if people are lying, and using clues to come to decisions is pretty neat.

Yah... I finally figured that out and now the game seems too easy. 
I haven't been doing any of the side missions though. There are some pretty cool crimes, though. I'm enjoying myself so far...

i didnt run out and buy it yet due to the experience of one of the worst games made (homefront). So I am waiting to see what people think. is it worth the buy?

It is if you like detective, noir-genre, games. I'm breezing through the cases, though and I don't see any replay value so if you have other games to keep you busy for 2-3 weeks, I'd pick it up used or rent it then.
