My favorite teams

  1. Clemson Tigers
What they would really want is Allen Robinson II. Who is a much better player than Anthony Miller and has the same number of years of control left.

Baltimore right now has more than twelve million in cap space according to OTC. Trading away Orlando Brown Jr. and cutting Gus Edwards would give them more than enough cap space to fit Allen Robinson II's franchise tag number.
yes but AR is more valuable to the bears than miller for when we draft another rookie QB.

Miller + Leno +?

Problem is Leno cant play RT. RT's are usually good run blockers and that's easily the worst part of Leno's game

I don't know if the Bears can just dump a bunch of trash off at the Ravens front stoop and expect to get a twenty-four year old Pro Bowler at perhaps the second most important position in the sport in return.

So many legit things to bitch about with this team and yet you choose potentially trading a dud receiver for a very good OT who showed last year he is a very good LT.

That and the running back room that consists of a statistical top 5 back (even though I don’t believe he’s elite), a gadget guy who can play the slot, and a viable backup.

:what:

It's a joke. Pull the dildo out of your ass and learn how to laugh.

Miller......viable
:jonesy: :jonesy: :jonesy: :jonesy:

And that you would bitch about potential trading a shit WR in part of a trade for a pro bowl T because the Bears have Charles fucking Leno...

I thought we had AR and another WR who were somewhat good. Who was the other one?
Or do you think we only have AR (for now)?

This is why I think they will go OT or CB. Trufant may not even make the roster. Highly doubt he was signed to start. Vildor and JJ scare the shit out of me. Leno and Ifedi equally scare the shit out of me but at least you know what you have.

It sure as fuck wasn't Ant Miller, he got beat out by a 5th rnd rookie that weighs 135 lbs.

I'm probably in your side and say we have needs all over the offense.
But I'm giving those who say it isn't that bad the benefit of doubt.

My gut tells me we need oline all over the place, a top RB and a lot of WRs.

How many times can the Bears be trolled in one offseason?? I just need the draft to get here to finally put these rumors to rest and/or see if anything comes to fruition.

So we have 2 viable WRs. One wants to leave or be paid which the Bears won't do so he's tagged. We trade the other one for a tackle on the side we don't need as bad.
Sounds like a realistic Bear thing to do.
As a Bears fan, you think that's a bad move?

"We got a very good LT, but we were worse at RT, so we shouldn't have done it" (As if Leno couldn't move to RT where he belongs anyway)

We have Robinson and Mooney and Miller, and you consider only two of them 'viable", and one of them is Wrong Route Miller? How ever will we replace his 400 yards per year?

Ahh, Mooney could be the other one I'm thinking of. Someone besides AR looked tolerable last year (especially considering the period of AR having issues). I'm sorry, the Bears aren't worth the harddrive space anymore. I don't think I bothered to record a single game last season. This team is losing my interest because they (FO) don't try.

When is the trade, before or after the draft? Is there a pick involved? Which pick, which year? Too many specifics to say whether it's good or bad based on a rumor.

Obviously if he's a good tackle and I say our whole oline could stand to be revamped I'd consider it. I'm not sure I'd throw in any of this year's picks unless it's a 6th rounder because we have too many needs IMO.
I'm not fond of anyone on our offense as a #1 great we can't do without or at least bump out of claiming they're #1 at the position.

Pick someone other than Montgomery and I'm probably open to trading them.

This is the Bears, they wouldn't put Brown where he should be and Leno where he's better suited. They'd trade for him to put him on defense.

Brown for Miller

Only Pace would accept that little for a pro bowl 24 year old tackle and he's on the other end of this trade....expect the bears to add in 3 1st round picks, the BHVWGHC move him to rt and piss him off then lose him to fa in 12 months...sounds more plausible

What is BHVWGHC?

I'd do Robinson for Brown Jr. in a heartbeat if the Bears didn't have to lose any major 2021 picks. Would have the opposite cap effect on the Bears. Trading Robinson and then cutting Leno after June 1 (because you now have a real LT) would save the Bears about 23Mil in cap space. The biggest issue is the WR group would be depleted and there's no FAs left of note. Could always go after a Rashod Bateman in the 1st and sign Golden Tate for the slot. But also gives the Bears some cap flexibility to go after one of the QBs that will get discarded after the draft (Bridgewater, Garoppolo).

if the Bears kept both of their first two picks they would probably take a receiver with at least one of them. I think if a team has the offensive line they have a lot of leeway with the receiver corps.
