It was, but not to this extent. There's at least 3 blatant no calls a game now. Calls so blatant, that guys like Felicio would get the foul call. It's never been this bad. And during his MVP year he was so acrobatic and so good at avoiding contact, it was at least somewhat understandable. These days he jumps into the defender and more times than not, gets noticeably hacked without trying to avoid the contact.

Well if it is always an act I have to wonder how these guys are interacting with him because they are somehow around him the only time he is truly genuine, assuming that he really is a dick at heart.
I gotta say though, if he was really a dick at his core that'd come out more on the court...you get beat up like he does every game you'd think he'd break at some point.

Yeah...it's getting ridiculously bad now. He's doing all the right things to draw fouls and isn't getting them several times per game. And if the team is sending footage to the league like they say they are, I guess the whole league is against him as well because it's not helping.

Yep.
I'm not trying to paint him as some type of angel, but even people that criticize him for some of the things he says in interviews, are quick to also add that he's a genuinely good guy.

I can see it from his entourage...idk maybe he just acts like that to blend with them and that's the act. Idk...if it's an act it's a dang good one. Maybe he should put those acting skills to use with flopping lol.

Being a dick is kind of a broad term. There is a difference between acting cordial or nice to reporters that cover you and your team than there is how you would act to random people that you hire to do services for you or people that live within the same building. I'm not saying he's out of control or a monster or anything but the nice humble persona portrayed in the media doesn't really paint the way he is. Not just Derrick either, none of us know these athletes and if you go by media interviews and what their coaches and management say about their star players, you're not really getting the whole story. I'm sure Derrick never came across as a dude who would be gang banging chicks and perhaps likes a sex toy used on him either. Not that there's anything wrong with that...just that you never really truly know the character of these guys. The way he acts with teammates, management, and reporters is different than the way he acts to people he has to interact with on a daily basis that aren't necessarily a part of his career. That's all I'm saying.

I thought that chick later said he liked it used on him. Not that it matters or that I care and for all we know she's just trying to ruin his image. My point was, we don't really know these guys based on interviews and what their coaches and other NBA players/analysts say about them.
