$5 mil dead cap hit. Must REALLY suck

Wouldnt use that cap anyways, so whatever.

The roster spot is a lot more important right now, same with that scrub PJ walker. No reason to keep him around.

I thought they said he was looking better last week, unsure how much he played yesterday. Guessing with their O-lin injuries, they must already have a target from other team's cuts.

Oline is a mess

5 interior OL injured
2 interior OL healthy

Let's release one of the healthy ones ASAP

He's been pretty bad, doesn't really fit the scheme. Poles only brought him in because he was a former first rounder, so you might strike gold.

I'm sure we can get a similar typa scrub from the waiver wire.

Probably

If he doesn't fit the scheme this year, he didn't fit the scheme last year....an expensive flyer to strike gold when he could have signed him as a fa vs picking him and his contract up last year.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
Leatherwood was good enough to get some playing time last year. Now he's not good enough to make the team.

The arrow is pointed up.

When you claim someone off of waivers and guarantee money on his rookie deal you're not making moves of improvement you're wasting money and missing on evaluations.
