LeBron's abrasive traits = giant asshole.
Jordan's abrasive traits = fire and passion and will to win.

Got it.

That doesn't seem ignorant or bias at all.

LeBron is a giant ******. Even Cav fans are open to admitting it.

Except LeBron's abrasive traits are not the same ones as Jordan. LeBron doesn't want a coach and GM who doesn't do enough fired. LeBron is dancing and singing and going through his elaborate handshakes and powder claps, and he's laughing on the bench when he's winning big. Why do you think Noah got in his grill? Do Jordan and Kobe do that? No. They may be sitting on the bench wrapped in ice, sitting out the 4th quarter, but you don't see them doing the shit LeBron does with the dancing and everything. They're still analyzing the game. It's almost like they're another coach. And you see after a win, LeBron is always happy, Kobe or Jordan are dissecting the game, and if the team plays like shit and gets lucky to win, they say it and they tell how they feel about what happened. It's almost like in a sense management fears Jordan or Kobe, but LeBron fears management.

No. Their fans are douches about it too and think he'll go down as the greatest ever, better than Jordan

He "could"...he's off to a great start...but until he starts accumulating rings, he'll be the Dan Marino of the NBA.

He will need to win 6 rings and 6 finals MVPs for that conversation to begin. And like I will discuss tonight, until he takes the game seriously, that won't happen

1. Someone challenged him to do that, and we all know he refused to back off any challenge.
2. That his fire to win
3. Kobe did the same thing after Shaq. He wanted Bynum out, traded for Jason Kidd
4. He should have. Krause was trying to destroy that team for no good reason
5. He had a dam good reason to be pissed. Oak was not only his best friend, but he was the only one who wasn't a pussy vs. Detroit.
6. Trash talk was rampant throughout games in his era. BFD
7. Again, his fire to win. And I don't believe that, he wanted Collins coaching in DC, and they are on good terms today I believe
8. He should be informed of transactions and be part of the process. He is the franchise player. I remember the 1986 draft, Jordan and the coaches wanted Johnny Dawkins, Krause wanted Brad Sellers. Jordan wanted Dawkins because he was a hard-nosed very physical player who would help them beat Detroit. Krause wanted Dawkins because he was a big man who could shoot outside, but he was soft. Dawkins was available, and Krause said he'd take him, but when the pick was made he took Sellers. Dawkins turned out to be what Jordan predicted, while Sellers was a pussy and out in a few years. Jordan may have refused to pass to certain teammates in certain situations to prove he was right, Krause was wrong. Kobe sort of was like this before Bynum emerged and he got Gasol.

We don't forget this shit because they got titles. We remember it because this was the fuel behind their fire to win. You just gave me some more stuff to discuss tonight when I roast LeBron

So wait a minute, Jordan's punching of teammates and lambasting front-office personal in the media are acceptable actions because of his passion about the game, but LeBron not shaking hands after a disgusting series loss isn't an equally acceptable showing of the same passion you just commended Jordan for having? This makes no sense.

Yup, that's some serious game dissection right there.

Nobody here is arguing that LeBron is better than MJ. Not a single person. But I would like to hear more about how championships won in a TEAM game (even one that can be as heavily influenced by a single player as basketball) is representative of a player's skill or overall worth.

LeBron James is a dick obviously, but Jordan was a HUGE dick in certain ways also... so is Kobe Bryant. Sometimes a guy like Stockton, Sloan, Robinson, Duncan, Grant Hill, Rose, or Durant will come along and be class-acts.

Don't get me wrong but I think the whole thing about not shaking Dwight Howard's hand was just the bitter media lashing out at LeBron for not getting to the NBA Finals after riding his nuts all year long. Who cares about that? Even Dwight Howard understood why he didn't want to stick around.

And about this thing... I don't even know if he saw the kid sticking out his hand. He was pretty zoned-in before the tipoff.

And Lol at the Big Baby Davis thing.. he's just a clumsy bastard.. he wasn't trying to take that kid out.

By the way, if LeBron James is classless, so is Joakim Noah for his comments just to piss off the people of Cleveland... none of it is a big deal... but I'm just sayin'...

In conclusion:

Jordan: dick
Kobe: dick
LeBron: douchey dick

Rami hit the nail on the head with "douchey dick"

Also you're right about Noah but nobody is talking about Noah :smug:

Can you blame them? LeBron is definitely on his way to being in the discussion of GOAT. Okay, so you dislike the FANS that say he's the GOAT already, fine. That's no reason to hate LeBron.

How the hell can you blame them? Before LeBron, the Cavs had not won 35-or-more games since 1999, and hadn't made it out of the first round of the playoffs since '93.

You're damn right a player like LeBron would bring fans back into the fold.

I never hated LeBron until last season. I hated the bandwagon fans who love LeBron cause he's a good player. I can admit he's a GREAT player and will go down top 3 of all-time. He's just a classless asshole. The things he does are not needed.

I'm not talking about the Fans that live in Cleveland or supported them all their lives. I'm talking the bandwagon fans all over the country who claim to love cleveland basketball because of LeBron. Which in reality, they never were Cleveland fans. I hear it all the time.. trust me. I got several texts here, (i live in IL, btw) about how the Bulls suck and LeBron's the GOAT, Cleveland is the best team ever, blah blah blah, when in all reality these same people were Bulls fans when Jordan was here.

haha or nobody is talking about how LeBron passed up on a golden opportunity to smear Chicago after Noah's comments, but he didn't sink down to that level... he even praised the city of Chicago

Not shaking hands is a sign of a sore loser. Like the Pistons in 1991 when Jordan finally beat them

LeBron does that every single game. I don't see Kobe doing that all the time. And he is probably dissecting the game in his head. The original debate was Cavs fans saying he is, then Cutsizzle was like he could. I said in response that for him to be remembered as the greatest legend ever, he needs the bling. We have HOFers, and then we have legends.

what has Jordan done to help basketball?

He is the reason the league's popularity exploded in the 90s, and why these superstars today can get 9-figure contracts.
