PK is his older brother.
Paul Kariya?!
I wouldn't mind going goalie in the 1st there but usually feels like a sticky situation.
PK is his older brother.
Plus our goal-tending depth just sucks
FORWARDS
Viktor Stalberg ($0.875m) / Jonathan Toews ($6.300m) / Patrick Sharp ($5.900m)
Daniel Carcillo ($0.825m) / Patrick Kane ($6.300m) / Marian Hossa ($5.275m)
Bryan Bickell ($0.542m) / Dave Bolland ($3.375m) / Andrew Shaw ($0.565m)
Brandon Bollig ($0.578m) / Marcus Kruger ($0.900m) / Jamal Mayers ($0.650m)
Jimmy Hayes ($0.875m) /
DEFENSEMEN
Brent Seabrook ($5.800m) / Duncan Keith ($5.538m)
Nick Leddy ($1.117m) / Matt Carle ($3.438m)
Douglas Murray ($2.500m) / Johnny Oduya ($3.383m)
Steve Montador ($2.750m) / Dylan Olsen ($0.870m)
GOALTENDERS
Corey Crawford ($2.667m)
Ray Emery ($1.150m)
Doug Murray makes Andrew Brunnette's speed look like Stalberg.
Murray is exactly the type of Dman that the Blackhawks need. He is a tough SOB to play again.
John Scott was real tough, too.
I don't care how tough a guy is to play against if he's going to be an orange cone in the defensive zone for opposing players to skate around all the time.
The Carle suggestion, I liked. Murray? Not so much.
Murray cannot skate. He'd get torched in the Hawks D zone.
I'd rather have Lepisto.
Twitter unleashing Hawks News:
Tim Wharnsby @WharnsbyCBC
#Blackhawks have placed 25-year-old goalie Alexander Salak on waivers.
Well that's obvious move 1 happening. Salak may of been able to be a quality backup and earn a call up if he didn't get all pissy about winding up still in the AHL with a crummy young team.
Hawks are in serious need of goaltending help in their system. Could be the 1st-round pick.
Wonder who is next to go?
Bickell? Frolik?

Dont know if trading montador right now is smart...let him prove his health then trade him around the deadline
