The Mets, The Dodgers, possible that the Angels could look to fit him in and Texas has a lot of money "laying around" after losing out on Lee and typically when teams make deep playoff runs they have more revenue just from mech sales and ticket sale etc. , but the Cubs would be up there to.

The Brewers would never make a deal like that, to send a hitter of Princes Caliber inside the division, a move that would kill them for years to come.

I agree its not very likely that the brewers will ever trade him to chicago. But do not say never if the cubs have the best offer, and the team decides that if they make the trade or let him get to free agencey and know he is going to sign with the cubs why not make the deal and at least get something in return. My hope is though that the brewers are still in contention come the trade deadline and they keep him and the cubs throw him an insane number come the offseason.

His age was definitely questioned for a while, but after the whole Mitchell steroid report, they unveiled many guys who did lie about ages as well as steroids. But, nothing on Pujols. Havn't heard anything in a while though.

Is his age really in question?

I've heard people question his age since he came up. I wouldn't think it would be that far off from 31 anyway. I personally don't think he looks any older than his listed age. Idk tho

We talking about this on 643 tonight, if I'm the Cardinals, as hard as it is... I let him go.

You really can't be taking up 1/3 of your payroll for a 40 year old Pujols in 2017.

They already do have a medicore older player taking up 1/3 of their payroll. Unfortunately their guy isn't half as good as Pujols.

Which is why they should get Pujols. :shifty: And he's only making like 13% of the payroll.
