Is it Whiskey or Whisky? Living in the northeast (upstate NY), it is more Whisky that Whiskey (Canadian over US brands). Gotta love Makers Mark 46 though!

Straight is my preference too. But, most people I know enjoy vodka with cranberry juice.

I like vodka because it's easy and I'm lazy. I don't go to bars, I just buy it myself. You can put vodka in basically anything and make your drink more fun.
