I like vodka because it's easy and I'm lazy. I don't go to bars, I just buy it myself. You can put vodka in basically anything and make your drink more fun.

Orange Juice? Yep. Lemonade? Yep. Soda? Sure, why not.

I do enjoy a good beer though. I'll drink basically anything if it's open bar...

As far as beer goes...love me some Shock Top Belgium White!

If I'm just out with friends at a resturant just getting food or a beer, I usually get beer. Same with get togethers as well... Only time I drink hard liquor is at the bars occasionally and for other special events. When I do drink Vodka, it's normally mixed. Otherwise I'll end up puking.

Btw, Can't wait for the Fall beers to come back!

If any of you ever venture to Rockford, stop by Carlyle Brewing Co. They have a delicious Vanilla Ale.... Hell, let me know and I'll buy you one.

not hating either. i go through phases. if it's after dinner and i'm stuffed, i want a glass of bourbon. If it's summer and i'm partying, I want a case of high life. I also like damn near every beer known to man. I buy a six pack and save 2 for storage. I currently have over 50 beers in my basement fridge as a reserve.

Don't let it sit too long. Fresh beer FTW.

I have 2012 Bigfoot that's been over 6 months. I'd like to vertical taste it with 2013. As for the others, they get drank pretty quickly. From what I hear the hops dye off the longer they sit

Yeah, I know some people like to cellar beers and whatnot. I basically stick to hoppy beers so the fresher the better for me. 2-3 months is as long as they recommend for most IPAs I drink, IIRC.

Only thing I can stomach anymore is good red wine and high-grade organically grown cannabis, tried crown royal last week and got sick. I once drove the entire way to Florida w/a bottle between my legs, back when I was young and dumb. Can't believe I didn't kill anyone or myself 20 years ago, wrecked 2 motorcycles before I finally woke up.
