The Bobcats pick has protection on it for years so while it's a nice asset to have it's not the sort of thing most GMs (who are usually under pressure for immediate results) will see as very attractive.

Bulls receive the Bobcats' 2012 first-round pick (top 14 protected in 2012, top 12 protected in 2013, top 10 protected in 2014, top 8 protected in 2015, unprotected in 2016)

If it's going to be a really good pick it wont be until 2016.

Eric Gordon would be huge, but I don´t want the Bulls to give up Gibson. I would prefer to wait one more season and bring back the captain! :p

OJ Mayo is the first on my list, and I think a 1st and JJ will get him.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
Nick Young is still my pick. He has steadily improved, and he'll keep improving. He fits our needs, and doesn't have the same price tag as most other players. I think he's realistic, and I don't think we would have to give up Taj to acquire him.

Trust me on this one...you give up Gibson for Eric Gordon...that is a no brainer.

There's no way Memphis would be interested in what will in all probability be a pretty late first rounder and a player who rarely plays for O.J. Mayo. This won't happen.

Landry Fields will cost you a lot more than he's really worth since he's currently playing well above what he probably will be once the sample size gets big enough.

korver should be the starter. cj and brewer can be the first guards off the bench, cj can be your offensive spark, brewer a defensive spark. for tougher SG teams like the lakers and hawks (when JJ is playing), start brewer to defensively harass the better 2-guards in the league. but korver to me looks like the majority-starter.

the bulls cant seem to get it together offensively in the 1st quarter. korver can space out the floor as much as possible to make room for rose and boozer and even deng to get inside and build a rhythm early. and its not like hes terrible on D, he does try his best when hes out there, but the good outweighs the bad in this case. plus him and boozer play very well together. since boozer has come back, korver has scored in double digits in pretty much every game, and they seem to find each other all the time (same with brewer, which makes sense since theyve played with one another for years). also, the bulls are somewhere around 10-2 when korver scores in double digits.

i dont understand why bogans continues to start for this team. hes a good player, but starting just isnt the best role for him right now.

if we can properly make a 3 way with DEN and NY he could be super cheap

Like 1 bull to DEN, melo to NY, and One NY to DEN, and Fields to CHI

I like the idea of Eric Gordon, but I don't see that ever happening. As for Landry Fields... no thanks.

Who knows what will definitely go down. I still have a pretty good feeling something good will come our way but the FO will just have to be aggressive & get the type of player we need to fit this team.

I am still wanting to see OJ Mayo....but of course it wont happen. It could, but wont. haha

Gordan is a hard call on if he is gettable or not, they are trying to build a team around Blake griffin, but they are also very easy to trade with
