Lake Michigan is NOT clean.. I'm not sure where you're getting that info from. I've heard some things that make my stomach crawl.

It's good for a view if you're lucky enough to have a condo situated around Lake Shore Drive, that's it.

Lake Michigan is pretty damn clean. Dude, you need to get out of the country sometime, travel and see some of the worlds water supplies. Of the thousands of lakes worldwide, Lake Michigan is a top 10 lake, and by most part, it's size and the size of the great lakes, lakes like Baikal all can clean themselves quick as hell.

I lived in both Hawaii and Florida. Florida is too damn humid and Hawaii was cool, but being on an islands gets old after a year. Go live in Cali dude.

have you ever even been to the Jersey Shore? if you are *** you probably wouldn't like it, so the majority of the people in this thread wouldn't appreciate it.

You obviously haven't been to the beaches in San Diego if you don't like them

Lake Michigan gets shut down for pollution at times and has Gary Indiana pouring in so much crap its not funny. Our drinking water is extensively filtered prior to getting to us.

Orlando isn't too far away from decent beaches and then you have Disney World which is some pretty decent entertainment and blows pretty much everything out of the water.

I'm not saying there aren't better options in Florida but I think to call Orlando a dump is a bit harsh.

I wouldn't call 50+ miles close to beaches. And their entertainment is good if you are a tourist. They have the magic but no nfl or mlb team. Unemployment is sky high and wages are piss poor. Its also a lot more hummid than by the ocean. I like parts of Florida but central florida sucks.

Gary is a shithole, but there are parts on Lake Michigan that are absolutely beautiful. I lived in Milwaukee for a year, 10 minute walk from the north beach, and it was perfect. Some parts of the lake will always carry more shitwash than others, but its so massive, that everything disperses so well. I can't believe when I was little, Gary was this up-and-coming city, and now it's just an embarrassment.

Maybe but I would certainly take Orlando over Chicago.

Either way I'd hope everyone around me would sink into the ocean and break off... I'd enjoy Hawaii while that one works itself out.
