I started typing this as we were down by two scores so my intro has changed. Instead of we lost so there are plenty of negatives, I will be using despite some issues on both sides of the ball, we pulled out an impressive road win. There were some great developments for the long term future of this club.

Leno-he still has a lot to prove, but at a minimum it appears that we got a good value with this 7th round pick. He was going up agains 2 of the top pass rushers in the league and was solid.

Long-appears to be evolving into dominant RT that we need him to be.

Goldman-he made some plays in the back field and showed toughness that you need to be a great NT.

Wilson-he finally stepped up and looked like a starter caliber NFL receiver. He clearly has the physical abilities to be a starter in this league, but he has struggled with injuries and the mental side of the game. Let's hope that today is the catalyst to a strong season for him.

McPhee-dude is looking like the prize of the 2015 FA class. If he can play at this level all year, he will be a pro bowler, and potentially an all pro.

Grassu-he had a few rough plays, including the pressure that resulted in the defensive TD, but after that he settled down and plead solid.

Jay-With limited weapons and a good amount of pressure, Jay played his ass off. His ball security on the fumble was less than desirable, but that is a tough play. There were two guys in his face righ after the snap. If he played like this every week, we stand a chance in most games.

Leno looked awful in preseason and his decent play has been a welcome surprise. I dont think he was getting much help either.

He's a much better fit at left tackle. That much is clear. He's gone up against a couple elite pass ruhers and has not been embarrassed. To early to tel long term but he at least looks like a viable backup left tackle.

this might sound bad but shea getting hurt was a positive for me! That no name guy reynolds comes in and makes a play in the backfield. Havent seen shea do anything all season

It's probably one of those things like last year vs ATL. We had at least 2 LB's out, so Greene & Reverend Al started and looked much better than the guys they replaced. In the end, they looked good for one game against a crap OL.

edit - Actually all 3 starters (Shea, Briggs, DJ Williams) were out, as well as Bostic. Sharpton, Greene, & Jones started in their place.

Amos is the real deal. Dude makes plays against the run and we haven't given up big passing plays yet this season.

I'd rather not hear about my safety than constantly call him out like we did so many times with Conte, Wright, Vereen.

No talk of porter? Dude was good today

Didn't he lose contain that allowed the first TD? Totally asinine play, he opened up the left quarter of the field with no help to try to make a play that he couldn't make anyway.

If that wasn't him it was because I was screaming at the TV and mixed the name.

not many teams have elite QBs. but what we have is a QB that can make plays and will his team to victory. he's alos the long-term solution at QB unless some elite QB falls into our laps, so get used to it.

don't know why you're so uptight after a team you like won in exciting fashion today. just relax and enjoy the victory, homie.

Shea is probably better but he is just there.. Not good and not bad. Just in medoicrity. Expect alot more from a first.

Ehh I thought he was okay. Did break up the pass on KC's final third down attempt but that was more of a horrible throw by Smith.

He also broke contain on that screen to Thomas, allowing him to walk up the sidelines untouched for a Chiefs' TD.

He did but Amos didnt help by falling down right into another Bear

Charles Leno has been a revelation.

He has some issues in the run game and is not an overly powerful player, but his pass blocking the past 2 weeks has been really good.

Hostile environment, really accomplished pass rusher across from him, not a ton of help, and he gave up 0 hits.

This would be a welcome surprise as Bushrod has become flat out unreliable from a health stand point.
