Think it is going to be good. Solid cast and I like HBO original series and JJ Abrams..could be very interesting..

Also just started watching Narcos..I am sure it was already mentioned in this thread...really great series..

I'm really setting myself up for a disappointment with Westworld.

I loved the movie back in '73, Yul Brynner was the perfect soulless killing machine (the original Terminator). I'm don't know if it holds up after all these years, but back in the day it was awesome.

The new one has everything going for it, great cast, story/premise, HBO = 80% success rate. It seems too good to be true, can't miss.

So I'm nervous.

This is a remake of an old show??? That's very interesting. I did not know that. Sounds like you liked the original. If so that's at least a positive start (foundation for the show is strong) add that to the other things you listed above and this has a good shot to be worthwhile. I agree though definitely setting my self up for disappointment.

I don't know how I missed it. Just finished the first season. Its really fucking good. Like really, really good. The dialog is great.

I used to watch it. First few seasons real good but then it gets real stale.

"Rebellion" just keeps getting better. I recommend to check it out and stick with it past the first couple episodes.

Probably already mentioned but I am too lazy to check. Stranger Things on Netflix- worth a look. Eight episodes. Set in the 80's- really well done for what it is- an homage to 80's thriller flicks.

The Last Kingdom on Netflix. Awesome show. First two episodes are a little slow, but it picks up. I binged the whole thing this weekend.

Slasher - I think its a Netflix Original. I watched it with my wife. It was a nice change of pace for me. Its like a thriller, murder mystery.
