Recently learned chickens will clear weeds from an area if you confine them with the weeds.

My wife has a bird/opossum/squirrel/raccoon/stray cat sanctuary going on in our yard and the squirrels impress me the most with their chutzpah. Once they know she has peanuts they walk right up to us on the porch and hold out their mitts. Has happened at multiple places we’ve lived but we have enough pets and I wouldn’t want one of our kitties killing one and presenting it to us in bed as a prize
