True that. When the Twinkies won game 1 I figured that's all they'd get.

Ditto, I was driving home from class when the bottom of the 9th ensued. (Listening to the very solid Dan Dickerson and Jim Price on the Tigers Radio) I thought, just get passed drinky and fatty and I think the Twins can score. Viola!

I hate it that we are "backing in like a semi" to the playoffs. Gotta take care of the Indians.

It would be nice to see this down to 8 tonight, I can see the so doing their part with Sale on the bump, hopefully KC can light up Verlander early tonight and get a win....

Wow, does anyone really want this division? The Tigers could be up a game on the Sox instead of down a game. THANK YOU TWINS!

the playoffs start today, every game is a must win
Guthrie v. Porcello in Detroit
Santiago v. Masterson in Chicago

I'm predicting a Sox win and a Tigers loss, Guthrie as we all know to well has been solid and Masterson isn't very consistent, so I'm hoping we get a bad Masterson in Chicago today.

GO ROYALS!

Well if you look at the entire picture in detail it isnt shocking. There was way too many question marks in the rotation ever since danks went down. quintana helped but slowly got tired. the bp as well plus how young they are. add in de aza being gone for a while, konerko with foot, face, wrist and concussion this year, dunns oblique, it hasnt been roses. this team is really good if healthy or minimum injuries. gotta overcome them somehow.

Sale, Q, and Peavy haven't pitched this long in a while.
Lot of young pitchers in general.

Offense went cold at the absolute worst time.

I want to stay confident because Detroit is day-to-day shitty too, but eh, I think its over by Sunday.

Guys just give me 3 more years at the U of M, then the White Sox will have a real GM :smug:
