So Making a Murderer documentary has been in the press a lot lately. Its available on Netflix.

I'm only a little over halfway through the whole thing. So I won't exactly comment yet other than the whole thing is fucked up. (I know the end results though).

Anyone else thoughts?

I think he did it but there was never enough reasonable doubt to convict. Especially for Brendan.

Well the documentary's point I don't believe is to say Steve Avery is guilty or not, its more so to point out the extreme flaws in the justice system and the corruption of the County Sheriff there.

Well rereading what she said it didn't really specify what she thought was messed up, just that she thought something was messed up. Could've been towards the system.

I'm not sure if he did it or not. I lean towards no simply because his past actions don't make him a saint but there really wasn't anything there to suggest he would rape, murder, and chop up someone's body. Brendan I definitely don't think was involved in any way. Regardless, neither should have been convicted.

Have you seen his ex-gf Jodi's comments in the past week? Gvien she could have been coaxed by Nancy Grace or has a personal agenda, it made me think. Either way, I agree that neither should have been convicted.

I did but she's scum and not trustworthy. Not saying she's lying, she could be telling the truth. I just don't take anything she has to say at face value. My mom was telling me that someone in jail had been saying that Avery talked about a female torture chamber. If true, that's highly suspicious especially when apparently handcuffs and a rope were found in Avery's place. Again, even if all true, I still think there was enough doubt to come back with a not guilty. But if all this is true, it would certainly make me question him more.

SilenceS probably just assumed that Steven Avery is black, thus the comment.

Some of the people involved in that fiasco can only be described as monsters.

The people on those jury's should be really disgusted with themselves.

Don't think he did it. He was about to get a fat paycheck. He had no motive to do it while they had plenty of motive to frame him. THEN....even if he did do it.....that was NOT a fair trial. Nowhere close to it being a fair trial

Watching season two... Some fucked up stuff.

Definitely don't think he did it.

To me, it's obvious that the county just didn't wanna pay him 36 million.

I think it's Bobby Dassey with his weird porn fetish.

I just started season 2. Only one episode in so far. IIRC, the only place they found her blood was in her vehicle, which I found as odd. Didn't the police determine it happened in the bedroom? I really don't think Steve and/or Brendan Dassey would be smart enough to pull this off that clean.
