It's hard to tell whether they framed an innocent man or simply planted additional evidence to be sure to nail a guilty one - as Furman did with the bloody glove.

You don't really believe that do you? That he planted the glove without knowing if OJ had an alibi?

Whenever I watch the show, I can't help but think to myself, "man this is Packer country in the flesh." Those phone calls Steve has with his mom where all they say is 'yeah' back and forth are cringe as ****. I suppose once you've been in jail for so long you run out of things to talk about.

Rxactly. Those calls where Steven ends his sentence with “Yeah”, and his mother simply responds “Yeah”, with that northern accent is sad while also sounding like a scene from Fargo.

I've watched 1 episode from the second season and after that blood test on the car, I'm convinced he's innocent still.

To me, it's one of two things.

1. Steven Avery did it, but they didn't have enough to put it on him, so they planted stuff to make sure he went away.

Or..

2. He didn't do it, but they wanted to put him away because of the looming 36-million dollar lawsuit. Police officers and other public employees had a lot to lose with this lawsuit. A town that small would have to make a lot of cuts to regain what they lost in a lawsuit like that, and usually they cut jobs like teachers, police officers, firefighters, etc.

Whatever happened, it's obvious that the investigators did some shady ass shit.
