Pro or anti-illegals, it wouldn't help lower the numbers in the US, or even if all 50 states passed something similar, it wouldn't help the problem. The only thing it does, is allow the government to spend your tax money to enforce something extra. This means new contracts, follow that money and I bet those that are awarded the contracts to enforce this type of law, are all linked to campaign contributions. So you have 1.) A broken system to begin with 2.) A Pork Project hidden within a socially engineered solution, and 3.) The enforcers don't do their jobs, 4.) you get stuck paying for it ANYWAYS! and 5.) It backfires, creates bigger black markets, and it makes it even MORE expensive for immigrants to come here legally. You scare away good people.

you know the only reason the US' population is growing is because of the hispanic birthrate...the white birthrate is at or below the population equilibrium...(maybe blacks have a high birth rate too..but i didnt take a chance to look at that demographic..anyway not taking either side in the argument but interesting nonetheless

well its very mixed here in az obviously...

personally, i like the idea of having random checks for ID....i know for a fact that az has a huge problem with people buying ID's and drivers licenses from DMV (my mom used to work there and was bribed)

so yes, i like the idea of the checks, but like you said...if its not enforced, then its wasted money

The problem with a lot of these illegals is not that they are seeking a better life. They're stealing from our nation. They work here and send the money back to Mexico. They bring in drugs, gangs and all types of other shit that we don't need here. They have "anchor babies" and get benefits(food stamps, welfare, etc.) that other legal, more deserving people can't get thanks to them. That's my problem. You want to come here, do it legally and prove that you can be an upstanding citizen and contribute positively to our society.

That's true. When my great-grandparents came to America from Poland, they were looking for a better life. Not just for themselves, but for the generations that would follow them. They learned English, got a job and did whatever they could to be a positive influence and contributor to the city of Chicago. They were hard-working people who paid their dues to build the family that I know and love today. They were well-respected and respected those around them. If these immigrants had the same attitude as my ancestors, I would have zero problem.
