Sure. I'll have a go at it. It's like I said the last time. 2 runs is not a safe lead. This is especially true when you consider the bullpen over the past week has been over worked. Out of I want to say the last 7 starts, only two guys have gone more than 6 innings and that was Hammel and Shark and the start prior to yesterday Shark only went like 3 innings. How many runs has the bullpen given up over that time frame? Well let's look

Today: 4 ER in 3 innings
Yesterday: 0 ER in 2 innings
6-6: 3 ER in 6 innings
6-5: 2 ER in 4 innings
6-4: 0 ER in 4 innings
6-3: 0 ER in 4 1/3 innings
6-2: 1 ER in 5 innings

Total: 10 ER in 28 1/3 or a 3.17 ERA over that time frame which includes the two blown saves you want to complain about. If you want to see a bad bullpen, go look at last year's team. They had a 4.04 ERA as a team.

Read a stat that shows plus minus losses for coaches. Renteria was a -5. Im guessing that has increased.
